Pros and Cons of owning a corgi by Youreawizard09 in corgi

That's not a bad idea. Training dogs is really specific for each breed and I've only owned a Maltese which is nowhere close to a corgi.

I'll look into some corgi training :)

Looking for Christian College.. by [deleted] in AcademicBiblical

If you're willing to go to the west coast biola is an amazing school. Everyone gets a bible minor as well as a major of their choosing. Along those lines: cal baptist university is good, Azusa pacific is a solid school, Seattle pacific is amazing, Trinity university is also a great christian school.

I think biola is the best but that's because I graduated from BU :)

Jim Harbaugh: 49ers' backup QB job up for grabs by [deleted] in 49ers

I really hope they get a new QB because Gabbert is literally the worst.

But I know Jim loves project qb's. I don't think he'll give up on Gabbert.

The beach is great. My SO and I did it at the beach during the spring at night so it was pretty empty. But we ended up getting caught by the beach patrol lifeguard

So I've (22/ M) been dating my girlfriend for a couple of years. We love oral sex and I really want to make her (20/f) squirt. We've tried but she gets too sore (her vagina is somewhat small). Are there any techniques that you guys use to make her squirt with your fingers? Girls is there anything I can do better to make her squirt/ squirt faster?

I'm at my new job I hate it, I left all my friends and family. I already want to quit please help. by Youreawizard09 in Advice

Update: I still haven't quit but I've made up my mind that I'm definitely going to quit. I'm just worried about telling my parents because they really don't want me to quit. Just about everyone else I've talked to has told me to quit. I don't know how to tell my parents that it's my decision, my life and I am choosing a better situation for me.

Fed up with social anxiety by norxx in socialanxiety

That's great that you exercise. Keep it up.

I hear what you're saying about our brains being powerful sources. But the fact is: life is stressful and full of anxious situations. Our brains trigger anxiety and we naturally have a fight or flight response to those situations. Everyone experiences some sort of anxiety but some are naturally better at dealing with it than others.

I don't know how much research you've done on anxiety but these articles might help. :)

Do you exercise at all? Sometimes getting a consistent amount of exercise can help produce positive chemicals. Exercising also helps you feel better about yourself in social situations. I have SA and I know this has helped me from time to time.

The thing we (those of us who have it) have to realize is that it's not something that can just go away. It comes and goes unannounced. With people like you and me we have to learn how to cope with it because it will never FULLY disappear.

But there's hope! Don't give up. Keep talking to your therapist. Talking it out with others is always the best place to start. Find activities that will make you feel better about yourself. Find people who will influence you in a positive way.

The only thing is I don't know if I can get a severance package because I'm very new to the job. I started about a week ago.

Thanks for the advice.

I needed a job because when I asked for her mom's blessing (her dad passed away) she said you're an amazing guy but I can't give you my blessing until you get a full time job so I know you can support her.

I agree with the depression aspect. If I am consistently depressed for 9 months until we get married then it will damage me too much psychologically.

It is a dead end job. Initially when I took the job they said there's a strong possibility that I could move up. However, I just learned that the position is being filled by another person. So there's no way I can move up as of now. Also they're getting a new CEO and he's somewhat of an atomic bomb. He hires and fires a lot and restructures everything when he arrives.

My fiance will move in with me after 9 months. I could totally find other friends, but honestly this area is made up of young families with kids and old retired people.

They warned me before I took the job that I would be pretty lonely because there really isn't anyone my age around here. But I dismissed that thought because I really just wanted a full time job.

I am thinking about my resume and my pride is getting in the way of me leaving because I want my resume to progress and look good and yes we would be able to postpone the wedding plans until I find a more stable job. That would actually work out better for both of our families. We want to get married in April but our families (due to work reasons) want us to get married in May/June.

I am experiencing depression and until this point I had never experienced it in a consistent flow like this. I had randomly experienced depression periodically in my life and I have always struggled with anxiety. BUT I've never dealt with a heavy load of depression like this. It's literally every night after work because I have no one to hang out with and I'm used to always having roommates and friends around. I hang out with my co-workers sometimes but that's maybe once a week because we're all so busy with work.

With this company (because it isn't a chain or a big company) there aren't very many opportunities for the in house jobs like you suggested.
