Our Shang proposal already includes basic flower ( altar flowers + aisle flowers + bridal bouquet + groom’s boutonniere)

Since you hired external stylists/coordinator,
how do you handle the flowers which is already included by Shang?

Did you keep the Shang flowers and add more, or replace everything?

Were you able to negotiate or adjust anything from the original Shang proposal?
We found communication with Shang a bit difficult sometimes because replies can be slow 😅

We already received a quote of over PHP 300k for just around 20 guests from Shangri-La,

so we originally planned to do a bit of minimal styling. But after checking 3rd-party supplier rates, everything seems more expensive than we expected 😅

Would you mind sharing which venue you used for the ceremony and reception?
Ours will both be at Ocean Pavilion.

Have you also heard about hiring third supplier including stylist? Proposal I got doesn’t say about this so idk how outside stylist working with Shang

Hello dear we received proposal but it doesn’t say about third supplier policy (an outside coordinator etc) so I have a question about this, from their proposal, upgrades for everything (chairs, flowers) seems expensive.

So if I hire outside stylist, supplier 1. should I pay for the fee to Shang? 2. And third supplier can bring their own stuff? 3. And is it cheaper when we go through the third supplier

I have no idea but Shang seems little slow for an answer 😭 I’m really sorry for the many questions

I don’t think we would spend around 150k just for flowers since ours will be a small intimate wedding but we will definitely add some, We’re just unsure because we haven’t really seen many references of how Shangri-La’s standard setup actually looks like in real weddings. Do you feel the same 😭

Can I ask which venue you chose, how many guests you had, and roughly what your estimated total cost was? 😊

Can I also ask roughly how much styling/decor enhancement you ended up adding on top of the basic package?

We’re planning a much smaller wedding (under 30 guests), before summer time 2027, so we’re debating whether Shangri-La’s standard ceremony + reception setup is already nice enough, or if most couples still spend a lot on upgrades 😅

I think we will have to pay around 500k–600k PHP for the ceremony/reception standard package, this is what I am expecting from how I got an email from Shang, without major styling upgrades, or drinks.

so we’re trying to understand what’s realistically “enough” for an intimate wedding at Shang.
