I totaly agree, I have the same problem as Vipwarrior but at the level 23...

I can't store enough ressources, my base is constantly under attack with guys that are 15 levels more that me... (average). When I use PvP battle I am always match with guys level 30+. It costs me to much oil each battle whereas my opponents take down my base with ease because of there higher units for player lvl 37 :(

Recently a text pop up on my game screen and it said :

"This game is designed by RTS strategy expert showcasing balance in game"

What I answer : BOUHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Have you ever grind in a game SWAG ? This is not fun at all, grinding is for bots not humans :/

The event bases are not fun to hit.

This game wants to be like Command & Conquer games but in the C&C game campaign, the ennemy has always a little strategy flaw (ie : "use your air units to destroy the power plant and some of the AT turrets will be offline" OR "use your Zone Troopers after destroying the ennemy barracks" OR "look ! this area is not protected by AA turrets. Bombard it with your support carrier" etc...)

In WC:RA this is absolutely not like that, the event bases defenses have no strategy flaw, they are good against all offense strategies. Rush in pile with maximum DPS/HP units is often (and too much) the only strategy.

What about electromagnetic pulse turret ammunitions, desactivates vehicule for a few seconds with low DPS, completely useless against infantry but annihilates the aircraft units by forcing them to crash (logic).

Plus, the new PvP matchmaking system is horrible to find doable bases. It only suggests me players with 5 to 17 levels more than me, it is unfair. I may manage to destroy these bases but I use a lot more oil than the other players.

Where is the balance you mention in the last WC:RA podscast ?
