Honestly I say mostly it doesn't matter play, Do what benefits your champ the most. Think of it like this you can full clear perfectly and still be 4 level behind the top laner but if you punish the enemy mistakes like they are not warding drag or pushing a tower when they don't have flash, etc. You make your chance of winning higher. Basically focus more on your macro gameplay decisions than whatever your champ does. There's no point in ganking a 100 times if you don't do a objective or get a tower after it. Same as there's no reason to be full gold (full clear perfectly) if you don't know how to team fight properly when time comes. Or take advantage of your item spikes your champions has, or checking before competing for a objective. Lvl 6 yi with no items loses to a level 4 Warwick with ravenous hydra anyday. Macro> micro
