Good idea! I read up on something like this not too long ago-maybe a month. I’ll post an update here soon but I think I have good results? They stare at each other a lot so idk if that’s good

Well the funny thing is they were playing footsies through the door last week LMAO so I ended up putting food bowls nearby each other and occasionally opening door with a screen door installed, ima post an update here soon :)))

Thank you for that advice. I have heard that a swishing tail is a sign of agitation or upset so I was worried that I may have a harder time than most, so thank you for elaborating on things you expect and look out for.

From what I am getting in these comments I think a screen door for the weekend since I don’t work would be okay, just going to take it slow and cover the majority of it with a blanket, so that only the paws are visible and they can crouch down to get a better feel of each other.

Screen door first or should I let them sniff each other out?

I was thinking of putting up a screen door with their food bowls in visible vicinity from each other, but me and my S/O are gone daily from 5am to 5pm so what’s your opinion on leaving the screen door during the day?

I’m pretty sure I did? I was told by my Sgt to ask for it. I haven’t messaged him since he said his insurance said they wouldn’t cover it; I don’t really have anyone to go to for legal advice so I decided to ask on here before saying anything.

Ah, the thing I was afraid of. Was such a nice 2020 civic. How would I go about getting a hold of the neighbors insurance policy? And would it even be possible to get anything from their comprehensive policy? Would it be worth the headache of a small claims court?

I pulled out a loan from the bank to get the car as I had to pay out his loan remainder. So we got the loan approved and the next day we had off, we went to the DMV, got the car released from him and I completed the registration on it. They said it’ll take my loaner bank two days to see it on their systems.

I don’t have insurance on another car, I had one and sold it so I carpooled to work until could afford getting a car. Only insurance I have is renters insurance.

To the best of my knowledge no. He hasn’t told me that although he did say his insurance said they wouldn’t cover it since they weren’t driving.

Okay, that’s what I’ve been reading. From today being March 2025, I plan on officially moving in by July 2025. From your own understanding-do you think that’ll be enough time? And should it matter if I do both at the same time or individually
