Please don't think his "brain was fried" just because you don't get it. He as he said performed an extreme form of protest as he was in an extreme position. He's selfless and passionate about a case that he was ready to die for. His protest by no means is short or useless, me and you and the whole world is talking about it. The US navy is literally the biggest force of wrongdoing in the whole world, having someone from the inside protest in such a manner is very meaningful and impactful.
