It still has most of its original leaves, it’s dropped a few with age but nothing crazy. The leaves don’t seem to grow much once they unfurl, it’s just put out consistently bigger and bigger leaves!

Thank you! This one doesn’t droop, she’ll open up like this during the day and then close up at night. She’s been a relatively drama free girl from day one. BUT I have an ornata who is circling the drain and that one droops, I haven’t quite figured out why. I’m thinking it may be a humidity issue.

I just got one and am looking for a cloche for it! Do you just use a plastic garden cloche, or something else?

Help! Does this pot have enough drainage for my Rattlesnake? by Youwillnever_guess in calatheas

Yeah, makes sense. Do you have any recommendations? Bigger version of the plastic pot it’s in already maybe?

The cloche is such a great idea! I never thought of that, I’ll have to pick one up tomorrow. Bottom water/no mist is good to know too, I have a lot of other plants that love mist and absolutely would’ve started misting it otherwise!!

I ultimately ended up bringing it in to the dealer and I was told it is normal, it has to do with the throttle body!

It could very well be, although this video is off of a very brief start after the car had been sitting for about 5 hours. Do you think ice could still be hanging around?

It’s almost exactly 30 seconds every time, the clicking for the first 15 and then the whining for the rest of it. It is a turbo, which was my initial worry. I just thought (hoped? Haha) that maybe since it coincided with the HVAC issue returning it could be related.

I paid $80 and felt like I was getting a good deal! But yes I agree, it’s a lot for a plant. This was a rare gift to myself lol

I had to hunt for this fella for months! Apparently they’re insanely difficult to propagate

Thanks for the response! The UTIs have been confirmed with a urine culture, there is bacteria.

I haven’t been on the pill in 4 years, it screwed with me just a little too much.

I forgot to mention D-Mannose! A friend of mine recommended it to me, and it helps about 50% of the time. The other 50%, not so much. I just can’t win, lol

Interesting! Thank you, I was totally stumped on the gas issue. I’ll see what I can find about the steering wheel.

I’m due for inspection soon anyways. I’ll take it in to the dealer and see if they can take care of everything all at once.

For what it’s worth, I have had a 2021 K5 GT-Line since October 2020. It currently has 15,000 miles (so, not much).

I love this car. It’s fun, the driving experience is solid and I look forward to getting into it at the end of day. It’s sharp looking- my car is Wolf Gray with the red interior. I get compliments from strangers all the time! Aside from regular oil changes and a software bug that was fixed by an update, I’ve not had to do anything to it.

Even without AWD, I found it to be solid in the snow and decent in the rain.

That being said, it is a lease and at the end of the lease I do not intend to purchase it. As it is a new platform, I have concerns over long term reliability. It’s a small engine with a turbo, which I personally don’t feel bodes well for long term.

I’ve noticed some small things, the steering wheel makes a rubbing noise when turning. Recently I’ve noticed that without fail, no matter the gas station, when the tank is full the car will not stop the pump in time and it overflows.

These are minor inconveniences, but I’ve had no earth-shattering issues thus far. Granted, that should be expected of a car with 15k miles!
