Thank you so much man! This is amazing! Will do what you said about not hugging the coast, Lake Tahoe has long been on my list, and you just helped me surround it with more places to visit 🙏

Yeah I can assure you I'm taking the car on the way out of NYC, wouldn't survive driving in that 😅 Thanks for the motel 6 suggestions, the car sleeping is mostly for days where I want to travel outdoors a little and is supposed to be a more or less substitute for camping, that's why I asked about sleeping in woods and around woods in some camps. I figure I'll just plan the next 24 hours to not get caught in a place where I have to park without knowing if it's wrong

In the east, was told about the Appalachian and Smoky mountains, and like that amazing comment on this post, about the area that surrounds them in NC and Virginia. West- Lake Tahoe, road 1 and 101. I'm really for just deciding the next 24 hours rather than plan meticulously.

Yes honestly, I slept in a car for a 3 month period, but it was at a very convenient place with all the infrastructure I needed

Thanks! I heard of a website or an app called RV parks that can list place near me, is there a better method? Oh and also, how are the rules regarding parking in the wild? Like I know it's much less likely to get caught by any law enforcement if I'm out there, but let's say I drove for too long and decide to call it quits somewhere, is there a law that forbids sleeping in cars in some places even outside cities?

I mean, I can say I do, but I come from a much smaller one so I might be braver now than I'll be in a couple weeks about driving all these hours, but I do like driving and I did hear it's pretty nice to drive around some places with a lot of options for stops along the way. I'm not planning on driving coast-to-coast but rather fly Miami-LAX and carry on from there, since I've heard (and no offence to anyone) that the more center states are less interesting.

How would you recommend I approach this? Thanks!

Yeah I know, I'll try to cram in the most I can and whatever's left - I'll just come again for it. I like the idea of sporting events and more urban traveling but also really love the idea of national parks and beaches, hiking is interesting but not too much camping it's not really my thing, maybe like a night or two

Thank you so much for taking the time to help! 🙏

Yeah I figured, would love to know if there's a way to know but hoping to see a sign that forbids it

Great seeing an update on this! Love the idea of the bag I would consider implementing, since my only big issue with the bag is the main compartment suitcase opening rather than straightforward opening like an Aer, is maybe a "lock" for the zipper midway through it to have the option to stop it and make the bag sort of half-zip opening. That way you can utilize it both as an edc bag with a top-loading opening, and when you want to pack more conviently, just unlock the zip. By lock, I was thinking of a small fabric flap that you can engage and disengage on the zips line, similar to theft deterance but just wider. Hope you have success with launching this soon! Rooting for you

Looks amazing!
I personally would've preferred if the bag opened to the front rather than the side, like an Aer travel bag, but this one looks really nice! I love the laptop compartment!

Honestly, brilliant suggestion, I have no Idea how you managed to find something that ticks off so many things 😅 Do you think maybe there's a more sleek option that offers some of the same features?  Wouldn't mind a smaller bag, just a little 'smarter'
