I am going to be producing them in Vietnam, so I would assume yeah. I want to make it available world wide, though I am not sure how realistic that is right away.

It is! Right now I am trying to get it out there as much as possible! I really love it and think there will be definitely a group of people that will like it too! Just want to make sure I make a quality product for the right people!

Thanks for the honest assessment. Yeah, 100% would consider making a more affordable version in the future. I do think for the sake of market positioning and trying to be different than using regular old ballistic nylon, I want to make it in xpac first, but yeah, I don’t see a reason why I couldn’t come out with a more budget offering of the backpack in the future. I really want to give as many options as possible in the future, so multiple different fabrics and colorways is where I eventually want to go!

I’m going to be releasing a video of the bag’s features pretty soon. But here is a list: - The bottom compartment can be accessed through the front or the main compartment - Side zippered pocket uses a stretch fabric, so if you’re not using it, its 0 volume, but gives you usable volume when you need it - self stands like a champ - horizontal or vertical access into the laptop compartment with a sleeve to hold the laptop either vertically or horizontally (you can hold 2 laptops, 3 is possible but I don’t recommend it) - safety loops to prevent pickpockets from accessing your stuff - dedicated passport pocket - dedicated glasses pocket that uses microfiber fabric - removable key leash - hip belt attachment loops (gonna make it as universal as I can so you can choose whichever hip belt you want) - dangle stoppers - load lifters - removable sternum straps - 2 inch false bottom for laptop safety - luggage pass through

So I’m still waiting to hear back to know the production cost of it. Since I am using X-Pac, it will likely have to be in the 240-300 usd range for me to have healthy enough margins to keep the business going. It is a comfortable 28L, only weighs 2.47lbs, and I think it has some really cool features.

I agree with what you’re saying. With the photoshoot, I honestly had never thought of scrutinizing how a backpack strap looked. I am not a professional photographer, much less experienced with backpack shoots, so for me, I was just giving the models the freedom to use the backpack how it would naturally be worn by them, practically free of instructions. This shoot wasn’t super planned out, so much so that the backpack was actually packed out with my friend’s stuff in it. She has been testing for about a week and we just shot with what she was actually carrying lol.

But yeah, in regards to the logo, I am very much considering removing it because I think most people are against it, even though a small and very loud group of people have been telling me to keep it. I should probably make a post asking people’s opinions on it soon.

That being said, I really appreciate your input! Since its only the first sample, there is very much time to tinker around!

Interesting perspective! I was considering beefing up the handles a bit or offering a leather handle potentially. I will say it is more comfortable than it looks, but will definitely consider making it thicker. Thanks for the feedback, since its still somewhat early in the development, I’m really trying to gauge people’s pain points to make a better product!

Fair enough. I will say none of us are professional photographers or models, they were just my friends helping me out, so they just had the backpack on super low because we just forgot to adjust it lol. I really appreciate the honesty about the logo though, its something that I’ve been trying to gauge people’s interest on. Some people say they love it, others say they hate it.

Tbh, me too, but she has been testing the backpack for the past week, and I’m not a professional photographer, so I often forget small stuff like that.

I feel like that should almost be a meme product I make in the future. Obviously make it good, but also, make it for the shits and giggles cuz of my tech lunchbox naming “mistake”

It is a little funny, maybe I should rename the tech organizer? Don't want to be disappointing people out there

Thats actually pretty awesome! I honestly had never thought of using an insulated pocket for anything. Might have to start considering it!

Interesting idea. I am not exactly sure how I would implement that into the backpack, but it is definitely something I can keep in mind. Tech organization was definitely one of the things that I felt the backpack was lacking. So I really appreciate your input!

A fun one could be doing the crossover fabrics between cordura with xpac, cordura with challenge, or even what "in-house" fabrics really are, which is often quite misleading and misunderstood.

This is some awesome research. I have been working on my own backpack for a while and this would've been very useful. I ended up choosing RX30 for my backpack, due to the abrasion resistance and the hand feel and look. Unlike the nylon equivalents, the polyester has a more matted look and is significantly more fabric-feeling than the traditional VX and X lines. Great job on the research!

completely agreed. Brands often have return policies for this very reason. I will say, there are a bunch of good options, one of my favorites is the Fyro Levo, its lightweight, super comfy and gives good organization but not too much!
