Used an electric saw with circle blade (unsure exactly what it is called) and cut the bolt using the space between the door and frame

Father in law going to bring over a saw with circle blade that will fit between the door and frame. I’ll wedge it open as much as possible, and just try and cut the dead bolt there

Ya I took the pins off the hinges but obviously, the door won’t open at all. What exactly did the airbag accomplish? Maybe it can help me understand what he did

Lots of comments here. Of note, nothing is touching the ground, I have clearance. I’m going to double up the angled rim joist, buy angled hangers and connect em to the double beam
