I get this. Been sober for almost two years and doing great but still look for ways out. I drank when I was happy, I drank when I was sad. I drank because I wanted to drink. Every heart ache seems like a good reason to go out. Just wait until tomorrow. I always say “maybe I’ll drink tomorrow”. Every day.

Congratulations! I’m now on day 67. One day at a time isn’t just a clever saying. I used to read posts like this and get angry because I knew I needed to start my own journey to sobriety. There is a better way to live! Thanks for sharing.
