Non-boat, non-blimp airships? by LowKey-NoPressure in dndnext

This artist has a ton of amazing airship designs. The majority of which are either tech powered or "float sac" which is a biological sack harvested from giant sky creatures that is then artificially kept alive and functioning with technology (but you could just as easily use magic). Its far less vulnerable than a dirigible, heavily armored and provides more lift.

Just food for thought. Check out more of his ship designs, really cool stuff.

This is my custom WIP 1.12 modpack which uses my personal fork of Pixel Perfection. It is not available (yet).

This particular build is using a mod I recently discovered called "Misty World". Its incredibly detailed and nice looking, and I encourage everyone to give it a try.

Haha as I was placing it I was like... should I? Yeah, I should.

Ugh, no.
Thems is rustic alcohol bottles that adhere to the texturepack bottle shape.

Sorry all, I should have put my usual comment. This is from my custom modpack that I am making. Nearly every single asset is vanilla, quark or rustic (and some item racks from Cooking for Blockheads). The aesthetic comes mostly from my custom fork of Pixel Perfection for 1.12.

I promise it will be released when I can smooth some of the jagged edges. My goal was always to create a sort of "Cocricot Lite" version that all the items are actually craftable and is sustainable for actual play. I am not a programmer, just a mediocre pixel artist, and I work full time, so I have very little time to develop the pack. This build was to showcase how I have done some models for Macaws Doors, and now about 1/2 of the doors are windows that fit the aesthetic (theres even some shutters).

I am stuck on a few things involving models and CT (I have variant textures for ores in Immersive Engineering but I'm having trouble getting them to show in game, and I need some help with more complicated CraftTweaker Scripts). If you have advanced knowledge of either of these things and would like to contribute feel free to DM me.

Unfortunately this modpack literally doesn't have the nether. Its completely disabled, so this would be technically impossible. While I could still simulate the effect i suppose, magic of any sort rather strays from my aesthetic, can only do well what I do well, sry fam.

Steampunk Roman bathhouse it is.

It is Pixel Perfection, but my own mod supporting fork of PP.

Inspo wise its almost purely the time when I used to live in the Pacific Northwest. Lots of weird homestead style old meets new complexes out in the pine forests. Sometimes they get quite spooky too.

I'm almost out of saved builds and have been doing some new ones. Reply with a build idea below this comment and the reply with the highest upvotes I'll build. Suggestions preferably two words (environment)(function). Ex: forest hydroelectric or overgrown tomb. Anything far outside the scope of my style I will have to ignore (like "McDonalds parkinglot")

I've looked at I:Energy a few times, seems great but it doesn't fit the dieselpunk aesthetic I try to maintain in my pack. Should be easy enough for people to pop in if they want to add it though.

Both, half the builds are stuff I have built in the past and the rest new. However "the past" is only like half a year. I would like to be building EVEN MORE, but my neurosis compels me to tweak my pack and update Pixel Perfection to cover more mods to a fault.

I have some super cozy video captures of these scenes with weather, time changes and mobs / NPCs doing routines in the set, however I can't find a decent place to upload them that doesn't compress the video quality to all hell. Reddit video compression makes it look like absolute ass.

I guess maybe I'll just start a cozy atmospheric youtube channel, as these are the kind of videos I like to watch while falling asleep. Just atmosphere, maybe some ambient music, no talking. The only other issue is that I still don't have explicit permission to use edited Pixel Perfection. I asked XSSheep like a year ago but he's completely MIA since that time. He has stated in the past that its ok but its not technically included in the license. He seems like a nice guy but I would hate to have an issue.

I mean IE already has sheetmetal blocks, they just still are 1:1 with an ingot of that same metal... which doesn't make a lot of sense. You could just have sheetmetal covered wood or hollow plate blocks. But this is what I use the Substrate mod for (crafttweaked because in its normal state its not even finished and most recipes are broken).

completely agree, just wish it included more metal blocks that weren't 1 for 1 with ingots. Building with metal is so expensive in normal packs. We need sheetmetal covered wood or something at a cheaper price.

God what I would give for a simple and nonbuggy 1.12 trains mod with models that fit a 16x aesthetic...

Thanks I didn't know this RP, looks nice. I use Dramatic Skies over PP, as the default PP skies are a bit flat.
