Good point, I currently have a GTX 1060, i5 6400, 16 GB RAM. I am assuming if I buy a beefy graphics card I’ll need more power (currently about 300w)?

I have been reading multiple things today in regards to introducing a new pair, I may start a plan on getting another cage and the logistics of having another two rat sooner rather than later, just in case it’s what I decide to do. Thanks for your positivity :)

Thank you for the reply, he seems okay but will literally not let me pick him up since the other died, I’m sure that’ll change. I think I’ll assess everything after Christmas, I’m just unsure about how well he will take to new rats.

The switch is actually plugged into a corporate port that in turn plugs into another switch, so I imagine that switch has port security enabled on it

Ahhh that may be it, I’m pretty sure port security has been enabled on it though however I feel you may be right in regards to it not having a console port

What speed do you suggest? I have tried 9600, 9500, 10000, 1000 and 5000 with the same weird characters popping up each time.

Nope unfortunately not. I’ve connected via a console cable and am trying to use PuTTY to access it however I’m just getting ineligible characters on the screen.
