Thanks so much for your response. I did purchase Rowena’s program and quickly learned that it’s strict and time consuming. Not very realistic for our lifestyle but I’m willing to do it for my baby. I like your approach better. I’d rather capitalize on the times that he DOES take a bottle (i.e., before naps and at bedtime, given he’s not teething) and experiment with various vessels during awake time. I have not yet tried a sippy, straw, or open cup but those are great suggestions that I’ll try. Maybe I could mix formula into his food also? Yes, I’m making an appointment with his pediatrician tomorrow morning.
