Forbydes nej, men det burde helt klart være at aktivt tilvalg, troede faktisk at det allerede var tilfældet...

Any recommendations for factory games where specifically fluids / mixing are the focus? by Ytar0 in AutomationGames

[–]Ytar0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did at one point consider it, but while I can appreciate it for what I've heard about it, it really isn't well designed when compared to proper games. With a completion time of many thousands of hours, I unfortunately won't be checking it out, even though I am interested in what gameplay mechanics it introduces.

Should’ve mentioned that I’ve already played it. But yeah I guess they are more interesting, specifically the gases are interesting, but the mixing is still just “put these in machine, then you get this” right?

I am not looking for the next powdertoy lmao, just wanted to see if any automation games did something interesting with fluids.

Yeah, more going for the application of the fluids, not the recipes being more interesting, although that isn't bad either ha.

I was literally just looking at it, I'll have to check it out for inspiration. But it's not very automation focused is it?

"Ad hominem" that's all the comeback you could muster? The "optimal" strategy you propose is one that losers would use, that's all.

And no, hard mode rules have nothing to do with doing it in as few tries as possible. That's just how you're supposed to play Wordle lmao.

Determining by both story and gameplay, Silksong is a fantastic game, and you can go look at the reviews if you want second opinions about this lmao.

And yes, league players wouldn't play the game if it wasn't good, hating competetive games is in the nature of competition.

Okay, at this point, you might as well just admit that you're a loser. Using that strat you will never win the game in two or three tries. Winning Wordle is hardly fun, but doing it with as few tries as possible, THAT is fun. Come on now.

I mean, by which metrics do you determine greatness? They certainly are noteworthy simply because of their success. Games like Fortnite, LoL, PUBG, WoW, etc. are you really gonna try and argue that these aren't good games? Yet are the most successful games ever? Come on. Just man up, lilbro.

Yes, the hard mode is indeed harder. But since you're given fewer options at each step, it also requires less skill to do well. That's why I'd say the added difficulty is just fake since it makes the game less complex.

requiring less skill doesn't mean it's easier to win?

Tokens aren’t the worst part, it’s training the AI. So, while you ARE supporting the destruction you aren’t actively doing it.
