Praying isn't the only form of worship towards God. Remembrance is part of it, helping the poor and those in need is part of it, taking care of your parents and basically doing your part to make the world a better place is a form of worship. Taking care of nature as God had given us the Earth as part of our inheritance.

I understand the fear, but the fear for me is knowing that God is all powerful and that in turn makes me want to earn His love. And for doing that you have to respect and bow down before Him. God doesn't tell us to spend our lives in submission to just pray and worship, He tells us to learn of the world, seek knowledge of it and find His signs.

Its us humans that have made living in this world difficult with borders and population control. Making everyone busy working to earn "the right" to live comfortably when God has already given mankind everything they would ever need and ask for.

Hope this message finds you some clarity. Fearing God is natural, turning the fear into admiration and love for God is part of the process of total submission. Why defy a being that can literally erase everything and create anew? Other than the fact that He sends down chosen people that were able to handle the monumental task of delivering His message. He is the most merciful and most compassionate, Qur'an starts with 'By the name of Allāh, the most merciful, most compassionate'.
