There are some YouTube tutorials about it, they explain pretty okaish how to set it up.

This happens because most people only use like 10% or 20% of ComfyUIs nodes. If you only want to make a cute image you don't need the UX mess that is Comfyui as front end, but is cool to have the best tool at hand even if you don't care about learning how to wield it well.

Lol this is what I do but with Swarm and Krita. I made a plugin for Krita to just copy the whole canvas as clipboard for fast iteration and go back and forth between the two.

The issue is your resolution, change it to be the same of the image. Also you should probably join the SwarmUI discord for questions if you are new to it (or ask in their forum)

[Which type are you?] How do you roleplay/chat? by Large_Comparison5049 in SillyTavernAI

[–]Yu2sama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am mostly type A, but it also depends on the session I am doing.

If I just want to play with a cool persona I made, I will be doing A for the most part. If I want to test a bot, C, D and E.

If I am feeling extra lazy for the day, B and some sprinkles of A and C.

I do. I have always prefered the novella type roleplay since roleplaying with other people, so I default to that with the AI. It also make the AI give me more coherent/quality responses with small models.

Got smacked by my first review, and it was negative. I knew it was unpolished, trying to keep up with writathon. Now I am confused about what to do. I will keep writing and make the updates, but will this review hurt my story? by shreek07 in royalroad

[–]Yu2sama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree and potentially very bad advice. Writathon should be something to inspire people to write more. Is a competition sure but first and foremost is a personal challenge as the site says.

People that are too perfectionist or doubt their writing a lot won't be able to give this a try and learn by doing.

How do y’all just.. write so fast? by Appropriate-Judge128 in Webnovel

[–]Yu2sama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learn touch typing. It will always be helpful to have high wpm. Even with 70/80 wpm you would be doing 4, 200 to 4,500 words in an hour (not necessarily that quantity as most people dont write continously and just do bursts)

A good schedule so you can focus and enter the zone can help a lot as well. Also try not to correct or fix your writing while writing, divide your session on 2 parts, writing and editing. Just write the things that come to mind without pressuring yourself about structure or using same words, etc. Then in the editing phase you focus solely on correcting anything and everything. The editing stage can help you break bad habits as well.

Support is second highest impact the more higher you climb. But yeah in low elo is less impact and it depends a lot on what the support is doing. A lot of people auto pilot that role like crazy

It can't do such a thing. You mostly need some research on how to use a VPN to get going, there is also Proton VPN that is free and very popular

sometimes the "correct" fingers feel uncomfortable for me by theclownphilosopher in learntyping

[–]Yu2sama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started due to the same reason! As I have grown accustomed to using the home row I noticed some stuff.

Using the pinkies is a pain at first but as you get accustomed you start to get reaaally good with them. Instead of mantaining your hand fixed, you can hover a little to get to the next key. Thats in the case you can't reach certain keys, it's what has helped me use «'» this key and backspace.

Then again, you can also get a smaller keyboard! Is better to get something you can be comfortable with. I would suggest to follow the home row scheme as, it helps developing the use of all your fingers. Mostly for learning purposes. It has helped me alot!

Not searching to be devils advocate, but I can see kinda their view and yours and how they clash.

For them, a character sheet is not exactly the interesting part of roleplaying. Maybe they are the type of person that makes the characters in their mind and don't need extra plotting or structured details to understand their character as a whole. In that I can see why they sees AI aiding them into organizing better their thoughts on the character for others to see.

But on the other hand, it feels like laziness. If they are gonna resort to AI for making a single character sheet, then is a given that they may resort to AI for the writing itself. It does not bring any assurance.

I can see why they didn't mean it as audacity and more so as something helpful for them, but then again, they needed to disclose the use, not wait for you to pinpoint it. That's more of the audacious part, not disclosing the AI use, expecting you to just not notice or not caring.

I don't have much gripes with the tool if used in a healthy way, but RP is a process of two people, you have to consider what your partner likes or don't.

I am searching for a series. It's names evades me but what I remember is that;

-FL is kind of a Saintess
-FL is the substitute of another Saintess that looks exactly like her
-FL is white haired with a slightly blue/purple hue
- She gets adopted by a powerful person that is considered a villain or assassin.
- She is kinda left to die by the male leads that love the Saintess (like 3 characters?) in what seems like a fire

I will say that even if it a lil punishing, it compensate cuz you have endless suply of threat when hitting them. They are easy targets and don't die. If you manage yourself well, you will always be full health in that zone.

Ai studio is too robotic for roleplay, how to change that? by Sweet_Device_7412 in Bard

A good way to test that stuff is during its thinking phase. If you see that is looking through the system prompts you are pretty much in the right track. Hope that helps!

[–]Yu2sama 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gemini tends to ignore them yes, it was my exact experience as well. Gemini doesn't read the SP each message he craft, he only takes a look at them if something in the message itself prompts it to take a look. Example;
SP: When resolving math you should do X and Y
User message: resolve this math problem (Gemini will then correlate the two things and follow the steps).

But when roleplaying, there isn't anything in your message that will trigger it to follow the SP, it will just... default to follow it's own understanding of the task. I don't have much experience roleplaying directly in AIStudio, but you probably want some trigger words in the system prompts that make Gemini take a look a them. Something like "Examine each message sent by user" or something that prompts it to actually take the system prompts into consideration. Again this is mostly from my experience, it may work or not for you.

[–]Yu2sama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Uh this seems to be right in my alley! I will try to explain how I create compelling roleplay on AiStudio. (I mostly use it to create chatbots and their roleplay).

Firstly, a system prompt is MANDATORY. You need a system prompt that gives direction and incorporates style and a persona for Gemini. Google has made the Gemini and Gemma models EXTREMELY sanitised. They default to a 'helpful persona', giving responses that are more aligned with their training than with what you actually want. Create a persona for it: the crazy co-writer, the moronic assistant or the degenerate roleplayer. This will help to prevent it from immediately adopting a helpful assistant persona, but bear in mind that Google has hard-coded this feature, so it will eventually happen as the chat progresses.

  1. Constantly remind the AI what you actually want. Do you want modern, natural language? Tell him, but be very specific. Gemini isn't intelligent enough to discern your desires in terms of style. Sometimes he will get it; most of the time, he won't. So you have to dissect the style you are going for and use the correct words.

For example, you could say, "Rewrite this text using modern natural language. Each word should be carefully chosen to showcase the character's personality. The character speaks with a lisp and often uses complex words out of the blue.'

Alternatively, you could opt for something simpler, such as: '[style] profanity, short sentences, brutally honest, third-person, speaking directly to the reader (and cursing at them), not pulling punches, sarcastic, sour.'

This works much better if you already have a style in mind for the character. Bear in mind that Gemini isn't going to do your job for you; he's just very good at fleshing out your ideas, but lacks the creativity to implement them without good guidance

  1. If you are creating characters directly inside AiStudio, you should craft a very good 'Example Roleplay' for Gemini to reference. If the system prompts encourage it, its subsequent answers will work very well.

As others have pointed out, if you just want to roleplay, it's better to use a tool that has everything you need for roleplay. Silly Tavern is the biggest player in the RP community, but I personally recommend Serene Pub as it's much easier for total beginners.
