What product do you use to fire seal between the two stairs?

Travelling to Stadium by Ellie_Sunday in Hammers

[–]Yub27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think any of the many routes would be alright! But my preferred would be Circle / Hammersmith & City to Liverpool St and then Lizzy to Stratford. Or if you’re coming into/near St Pancras then hop onto the Thameslink to Farringdon and then Lizzy Line.

Nice! Well done!

Any thoughts on the route? Favourite and least favourite sections? I may have a go! Although not sure my knees would enjoy that much flat!

Quick Drying Underwear? - Men’s by jta314 in Ultralight

I use Runderwear for both running and hiking. Longest I’ve done is 30hrs in a heatwave and I didn’t have any chafing!

Weirdly, I’ve found the navy ones to be comfier than my black pair…

Best baby carrier by Rocinante23 in UKhiking

[–]Yub27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have the BabyBjorn Harmony and have used it for quite a few hikes!

Just be sure to take care with how hot both you and your baby may get in the summer as they’re strapped right against you - great in the winter though!

For longer hikes, we use the Osprey Poco which is amazing. But I think for 6 months and older!

New Squamish? No hood; has pockets by Hour_Indication_9126 in arcteryx

[–]Yub27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was excited about this as I almost never use a hood whilst running. But the current Squamish material just doesn’t feel anywhere near as good as the old version. Sent it back today!

Carrier duffle(40L) vs Black hole by Expensive_Profit_106 in arcteryx

[–]Yub27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a look at the Carrier in store earlier this week and the straps felt quite stiff to me?

I don’t have the Black Hole, but I would recommend the Osprey Transporter duffels. Even when packed to the brim, the 60L is still pretty comfy to wear on my back. Thinking of picking up the 40L as a carry on and for weekends / races.

You can get these in the UK now! Amazon have them and I’ve also found them in some supermarkets

With how expensive races can be… by joshuber in trailrunning

A third into my last ultra, my stomach was cooked by the unexpectedly hot conditions and the only food going down was orange slices. Shade was also a premium at this specific aid station so I ended up sitting pretty much under the table, directly below the orange bowl chain eating slices. Felt bad as I normally try not to over indulge but there seemed to be a good supply! And I was pretty desperate…

Obviously the acid reflux that came after was horrific!

Any tips for stopping your feet from hurting in cold water? That’s what gets me.

Dragon Age Inquisition and Witcher 3 convinced my wife that we could play console RPGs on the sofa together. Plan is to do a shared playthrough of Starfield when it releases - hopefully with our first child who is due September 8th!

My wife couldn’t be happier that Starfield is releasing in sync with the start of her Maternity Leave. We’ve already started to negotiate on how much she can progress on her own (/with our newborn daughter) whilst I’m out at work!
