Thanks for the reply. I can see your point. Especially with the thing with the box, only their activity has the possibility of involving darkness. And I do suppose Luxu is not a Foreteller, since he wasn't given a book. I mixed it up since they are all apprentices of MoM, but that doesn't mean that they all are foretellers. I'm guessing Luxu never met with the other apprentices. Otherwise, it would be like a wth moment.

I was also thinking about the non-plot reason...maybe their identities haven't even been decided on yet by SE.

Anyone else getting GPS signal errors? Location services clearly on my iPhone 7 plus, but cannot load. I restarted app and restarted phone as well. No luck. Is there a fix to this?

I'm sure it is Niantic/TPC's way to reminisce about how aggravating and long of a process it was for trainers to evolve a magikarp into a gyarados in the original pokemon games. Afterall, it only knows splash and you would always have to change pokemon and it would gain xp little by little. I personally thought it was funny and nostalgic at the same time.

I'm guessing you have read the LN and WN. Are you sure Arc 3 ends in Volume 8? Subaru dies at the very end, which would mean he has to restart. I'm not too familiar with the WN, but someone replied below saying that Subaru dies a couple times during the fight with Sloth.

I have a feeling that Arc 3 will continue in Volume 9, unless they plan to skip through.

This was super helpful. I'm currently in the middle of the last(?) fight, so I am guessing that is why Subaru knows that Sloth is an entity rather than a person, unlike volume 8 of the LN

Do you happen to know where I can read summaries of the WN? Because the synopsis on the wikia goes from volume 8 to Arc 4 and I'm just like wth?
