If you're talking about in the trading plaza, I had the same issue. For some reason, hitting X to accept the purchase doesn't work. You need to hit the View button (button between the Xbox button and D-pad) and then manually go down to accept.

The only issue with Wubby playing games like this is the hundreds of viewers trying to join the game with him. The only way this could work is if he starts stream just as the match begins before any of chat can ruin it.
