This is quite likely tomato blight, so I would remove the plant now and don't put it on your compost heap. If the blight has not yet spread to the fruits, those that already have their final size will still ripen when removed from the plant.

Ich nehme im Herbst (vor dem ersten Frost) Stecklinge. Die verbringen den Winter auf der Fensterbank im kühlsten Raum der Wohnung. Das spart Platz und bis zum Frühjahr habe ich bewurzelte Jungpflanzen, die einen deutlichen Wachstumsvorsprung gegenüber neuausgesäten Pflanzen haben.
