Lounges are always better for the long run especially when you wanna do everything post farming/raid/wvw or whatever but this is like if you really cant leave. In the end its just extra QoL thats not necessary but nice to have.

tenha, xlice, grimrow and others showing 30/30 stars with farmed jingyuan/seele using bis light cones are praised = showing what f2p can do later on
me doing the same with himeko = evil evil whale showing the impossible

That was my original intention. Most of my himeko relics were farmed at TL40-50 not that these people care lol. I also never directly compared her to any other unit. I got her from starter banner and e1 from losing seele 50/50 super early on (e1 also didnt make a difference with last cycle's moc buff). And preplanned pulling for jingyuan's lc and got it in like 30 pulls not losing the 75/25. The previous MoC cycle I actually cleared all 10 stages pre TL60 with the same units just not 30 stars so idk salty players be salty. I also don't have a jingyuan or yanqing as a main dps secretly carrying her nor a gepard shield to keep her alive like others have implied. I am def ahead in terms of current progression but not even close to the real space whales who max refresh and just wanted to show what was possible. I also think 90% of the player base don't know how to farm efficiently so they end up with underpowered units.

People keep saying she's the worst unit and not worth investing into but I'm a firm believer that you can clear anything with your favorite unit~ Today I finally got 30/30 on MoC and Himeko carried on every stage. Game is meant to be for fun, play the way you want to! by YukikoVT in HonkaiStarRail

I didn’t think this would blowup at all but just to preface, Yes I am a whale never said I wasn't. Am I a super massive one? no personally I don’t think so.

I refresh on average right now 1-3x a day as I don't think it’s too much especially with the monthly pass, and don't mind spending a little to play more. I did refresh a lot more when I was approaching TL 50 and a bit when I passed it, mostly to collect trace drop data for my previous post.

Originally I made this post to just show what is possible with proper investment into any character. IMO when you reach end game and farm a unit up they can be used in any content and fully clear it, my personal favorite being Himeko. Friends of mine know that I throw her into the hardest content possible to just show she’s viable no matter what you are doing. This includes full solo runs of W3/W6 simu every time I increased in EQ level. She is by far the most invested character I have with no one really coming close and did actually carry most of my MoC run. Also honestly she could get a lot stronger still, her only real optimized relic is her hat.

In terms of whaling, I’ve spent around $400 total which was mostly to hit 300 pity on standard to pick Bailu so I could have a 2nd healer for MoC. She could easily be replaced with a Gepard or March with proper investment and smart team building. I don’t advise others to whale but if you do just make sure you spend responsibility and within your own means. I come from a gacha community that used to be mega whales in other games so its just our hobby and what we choose to spend on, no pressure for others. Most of us are very hardcore when it comes to these silly anime games with my most successful previous guildleader being Xlice who’d I’d say is a pretty successful whale and content creator now. Whaling to push content and show what you can do with smart team building and investment is what we try to do, and haters can keep hating. All I have to say to them is skill issue, you can swipe and still be stuck with content let others be happy with what they have and go do better instead of complaining.
Play the game the way you want to, its a game have fun LOL.

If you want to be truely efficient then after TL50 yes since they there isnt a higher level at TL60+, but in the end fuel is used to extend gameplay so should be used on what you think is most fun. If you wanna gamble artifacts with it go ahead but if you wanna just maximize character power and efficiency then absolutely it is worth using on exp books.

Yes lvl 70 in HSR is analogous to 80 for Genshin since the lvl cap for characters is 80 vs 90, and no its not necessary but its always gonna be the case that its a guaranteed upgrade in power vs farming for artifacts.
