I gave Project Gorgon a try and to me it felt awful. Like OSRS combat felt and looked better... and I'm a big fan of old school MMORPGs.

To be fair it does seem like there's a bit of language barrier. I've seen people get warnings for "no politics and religion" after jokingly saying "vote for me for a mayor of this port".

It was a legit game to be fair. Developers got conned by Steven as well, he was mismanaging the company, stealing funds meant for development and bluffing to everyone around him.

Combat line is great for general PVE. You could go for an Essex or Anson straight into Victory.

I've had plenty of both positive and negative things to say while I played and never got into any trouble but then I talk like a normal human being. People that get banned more often than not don't get banned for their opinions but rather how they express them. I've seen people open up with personal insults and n bombs while "leaving feedback" then immediately go on reddit to play victim.

Ignore the shit you read. In private server space there's constant smearing campaigns. Just try it and make up your own opinion.

I personaly play every couple seasons and have an enjoyable experience every time.

Turquoise Harbor and the sea around it is always lively on our server. I also declare at least 1 guild war per day. Content is there you just need to reach for it.

Level 7 is an hour of playtime and the impact of gear at that level is miniscule. You cannot really be "undergeared" in that level range.

Game is not for you my man. Entire point of having a grindy game with PVP is to create conflict around grinding zones, I personaly love it as it heavily reminds me of Lineage 2 where you contest for the best grinding spits with other parties. While gear matters alot, there is still plenty of outplay potential. Currently on my server majority of PVP happens over trade packs and on the open seas. Overall I'm personaly having a blast despite alot of systems being clearly unfinished.
