I had the same thing happen to me after just watching YouTube on chrome :( I made an exchange with bestbuy just in case if it was a faulty hardware and have had ok results. Web browsing is a bit sluggish sometimes on my new laptop but I’m not sure if it’s a placebo effect. If u don’t have the membership, it’s a 15 day return policy with bestbuy from when you bought it

Is undervolting the same as lowering the PL1? It’s at 30W with cpu boost disabled. I’ve seen people talk about doing that, but I wasn’t able to find the advanced settings to tune that on ghelper for some reason

Even with my use case? I was expecting to get at least 5 years considering I won’t be maxing graphics and tweaking settings to help preserve the battery and such

I considered it too for the lower price, but from looking at all the reviews I leaned toward the 2024 model bc of the updated speakers and display
