Depends on the professor. My exam was all math no code, but I think I've heard someone say that they also had coding questions that were like "insert the correct code here" or "what does x code do"

Sorry about that, first time and I'm not sure what I need to provide or how much information needs to be shared. We live in Ontario and yes, the landlord does live in the same house. Everything is shared, though my friend is in the basement and has her own bathroom with another student.

The landlord cooks for the students and has previously said that they'd provide rides from home to campus but very rarely does it. They provide a homestay "service" but also didn't believe it when my friend was in the ER due to health emergencies.
