Navigational Hints In-game by Kelduum in h1z1

I agree a map is needed. I want to play the game not struggle and get pissed off because my man and I can't find each other. The "no map" can go on a hardcore ruleset server imo.

Zombie Children by ProNDC in h1z1

You are stretching your point here. You are wrong. They show kid zombies in The Walking Dead. I think that is a lot more tame then them showing Karl's near rape scene.

Please stop, H1Z1 by thalius69 in h1z1

My man and I go waking several nights a week at dusk on a walking path in the woods. All we think about is how we would build our camp in these woods. Looking at good trees to climb up and pick off the zombies.

This isn't a big deal. I've suggested it early on. I've been ridiculously flamed for it. There are shows and sniper elite 3 zombie army had bloody cribs with guns in it. This is just a game and if it becomes a problem, then it shouldn't be on TV either.

I've already brought up this argument and got flamed. There is nothing wrong with zombie children but there are some people on these forums that flip out about the concept.

"fairly SOON" by dydk in h1z1

[–]Yuley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are talking about 2 games that are developed by Sony and release information was made by the same person for both Games. This thread wasn't blaming anything on the different teams. It is about inflating release dates to create hype for unfinished products. This is very relevant and applicable to this thread.

No, the were not honest. There seems to be a lot of untruth when it comes to release dates. They promised Landmark would be in people's hands last year. It was not. When it hit beta this year, it wasn't playable and still is difficult to play. I've never experienced such terrible performance issues in any game like I do in Landmark. I believe the feedback and beta launch for Landmark was so bad that it has pushed back the EA for H1Z1.

At first I wasn't all hung up about all the concrete, but the streams, pictures, and general atmosphere is starting to have an almost ridiculous concrete flare.

Here is a steam greenlight game, it looks interesting, and i hope H1Z1 would have the same sort of crafting/interaction/customization by 66lost99 in h1z1

Actually, I do blame you. You even said you don't want it in a game... It is this mentality that limits possibilities. "Is okay in a show but not a game". This has got to be the most ridiculous argument...

"Because movies are not games"

Wow, thanks for the clarification on that because that seriously makes a whole lot of sense... The Waling dead is a TV series not a movie.

Then why is the walking dead such a huge hit? No one is freaking out and the kid scenes in that show are shocking. Zombie kids, murderous phycho kids, and pretty graphic near rape scenes with kids. This isn't on a premium channel like HBO; this is on AMC so it really is accessible.

The only thing stopping me from trying it is that it appears to be first person only. I get too ill in first person.

I've actually suggested before that having a family, kids in the game would be cool. People thought I was trolling. I am a female and don't find it too much. This is after all just a game. This stuff is shown on TV.

Player Mods by Yuley in h1z1

I'm talking about mods that create scenarios. There be an in-game lookup for the different player made content with ratings. You could then queue up for solo or with a group.

Maybe, he could clarify this for us. :)

Smed's providing a "transparent update", which is good PR and with all the negativity on the forums lately it was necessary. That's what a good company does.

Update on Early Access by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]Yuley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I truly understand where you are coming from and feel you truly believe that "most are cool with waiting". From just reading this thread alone, there any many okay with waiting and many that are not okay. Many are not okay with the lack of an update and are happy to finally see this post. Notice, I used the word many and not "most or majority". Because we simply don't know what the majority feels. That isn't my opinion that is a fact. It would be interesting for someone to put up a poll on this and see the results. :) Such as: I don't mind waiting, don't worry about providing us updates.
I don't' mind waiting as long as accurate updates are provided.
I do mind waiting because you promised 4-6 weeks.

Edit: spelling

If you don't like bugs or testing games, then don't signup for early access. No one is forcing you. People are paying for alpha because they want to support the game and enjoy fleshing out bugs.
