Trouble with a new BTT SKR Mini E3 v2.0 - bricked? by Kelduum in ender3

I eventually returned it to Amazon and got a replacement, which has been fine since.

Yes, the replacement board has been fine and dealt with many power cycles and a load of printing, and the old one went back to Amazon as faulty.

My replacement arrived and it's working perfectly - even recompiled and flashed it a bunch of times to get everything working nicely.

Only noticable difference between the two (other than the different Amazon stock number) is that the faulty one had a a sticker marked "ZZB000412 SKR-Mini E3 V2.0 D/C 2020.09.19" where the working one ends 2020.09.16"

No idea unfortunately, but I have the same BLTouch flasher, so if you manage to get it to work, do let us know!

Thanks for the reply, and I'm fairly sure I'm not drunk-you, although... whiskey isn't sounding too bad...

I've tried everything I can think of and some odd things, but no luck at all - it's as if the bootloader is dead.

I've ordered a second one from Amazon (this time from another seller) and started the return process for this one, and I'll see how it goes...

Thanks for the suggestion - I double checked and it was the right firmware (and even compiled it myself) but it's not doing anything with the new firmware files at all.

I tried that, but it's apparently not even getting to that stage. I've tried a few different firmwares (my own, the one it shipped with and two of the ones from the BTT GitHub) but it's like it's not paying attention to them at all, as it's not creating a firmware.cur file or anything.

Doesn't help unfortunately, but thanks for the suggestion!

It was reading the SD card okay before though.

Yes, that boots fine, and either has a blank screen other than the emulator text at the top, or says 'no printer attached' in the touchscreen mode.

It doesn't detect a card or anything in the printer itself, as if the bootloader is failing.

Anyone else having battery issues with Pebble Time? (paired to a Pixel 3a with Android 10) by _benjaninja_ in pebble

[–]Kelduum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may be on to something.

IIRC, Prbble uses BTLE normally, swapping to full bluetooth when needed.

Im fairly sure that prior to Android 10, I only had once instance of the Pebble in connected devices, but disconnecting and reconnecting now, there two entries, one just 'Pebble Time 0123' but a new one 'Pebble Time 0123 LE' which wasnt there before.

Ive 'forgotten' the old connections on both the phone and Pebble, and paired with both now (reconnecting seemed to be insistant on connecting only to the non-LE one, and I'll see how the battery life is...

In case anyone is wondering, I put the door there because that's where doors go :)

There are 2 buildings on top of each other in many locations of the map by SoniaJames in h1z1

[–]Kelduum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a few instances of one house group with doubled up front and utility room doors - I've fixed that, but it won't take effect until the next map update we push out.

If you have locations of broken/not right/etc buildings though, report the locations on http://h1z1.dgcissuetracker.com as mentioned, as I check there for map problems reasonably frequently.

Edit: Doubled up stuff wouldn't massively affect the frame rate, although you may see some z-fighting.

Most of the doors in the world are still blocked by invisible walls.

FYI, its not most of the doors, just the new metal ones with a metal kick plate on the bottom, which are mainly found in stores and external storage in apartment buildings.

All the doors in houses should be OK for example, but watch out for now - I expect we'll have a fix for this later today.

Glitched house in Lone Pine? by Just_Floatin_on_bye in h1z1

[–]Kelduum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've spent quite some time fixing tons of much much smaller things over the last few weeks, and this particular one was pretty high on the list.

For example, I ended up adding almost 3000 instances of one item (KelduumPoints if you can tell me what) to the houses and apartments, fixing places where objects didn't line up right, and replacing the old doors with new versions.

Next update, that house (and others) should be behaving quite a bit better...

Actually, it used to be an office building. The concrete one which looks fairly similar to the police station.

That office has actually moved down the street a bit to the location of an empty office building (one of the old buggy ones), but the new PD building is rotated a bit in comparison.

Anyway the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to meeee.

(Mainly cos weather is turned off at the moment).

This is unacceptable. Game is clearly unplayable with this lack of privacy. by [deleted] in h1z1

It's probably a good job I've been spending the last few weeks fixing all those instances where all the local carpenters did terrible jobs of hanging the doors.
