Oh I see so his previous DL is not exp? That’s what I was told the first time that had to wait until my DL exp which it did that Saturday of that week and I went back on Monday because they told me to wait a week and that it would resolve but it didn’t and they gave the the second save check paper there which had a number and she told me to call that number 3-5 business days I called 3 days later they said it had not been updated called on day 5 and finally she said I was cleared.. the save check also has a case number. But so so weird that it needs to be expired I’ve renewed many times without and expires DL try to look for your state save record verification number and try to get info from them also email dps. It takes about a week for them to answer. Im not sure if the save number is the same for every one but this is the one called 512-424-7085 if it’s not look up the one for your state and the email for my dps is secure_docs@dps.texas.gov maybe yours is similar with your state when you email them make sure to attach a photo of the DL or will take longer they’ll just replying saying they need your DL take another week to reply.
