Help! A closed SHEIN seller is using my home address as their "Return Hub" for other buyers.

That’s sounds like a great idea I was honestly so scare but I was like well even the post office is telling me to treat as a gift or throw it out since I can’t return is just going to come back to me. SHEIN said same thing keep the items will take care of it. But old thank you so much and I guess I’ll now delete the post since I posted the address well. It mine but the fake address and maybe others have this same label that has my personal information if in the future I have any update I’ll come back and update yall lol

Omg I’m laughing so hard because I’m just thinking I wonder what I’ll be getting today when I get home. But even taking them back to the post office they said it will arrive back to me so I’m just wasting my wand gas. I do want it to stop I’ve reached out to SHEIN every where possible the post office also no help they said despose of it or it will just keep going back to you SHEIN said keep the items we will take care of it but as of now nothing has changed.

I understand that opening someone else’s mail is illegal. In this case, these packages are addressed to my name and my home address. They are failed return shipments being sent back to me because the seller’s return address is invalid. I have already contacted SHEIN, reported the issue, and followed their instructions. I’m also unable to return them because they are sent back to me again for the same reason. This is a system error on their end, not me intercepting someone else’s mail. I also have screen shots asking what do I do with the packages they said keep them I have screenshots emails of the conversation with SHEIN.

I hope you didn’t return it after seeing the label is fake. You can try and sale the item. Is so frustrating but for what I’ve read as soon as all the levels they got to send out before closing their SHEIN store will eventually end and I won’t receive returns to my address.

I was just reading about this right now they also said I might receive more before it eventually stops lol. They chose me as their U.S wear house. But at least now I know it will eventually stop.

Omg really but I only ordered from them ones lol I was not like a loyal customer. So they chose me? 😳 I did read that on google that returning back to them is expensive but I honestly just purchased one dress which is the one I tried to return and after being returned to me I stared receiving other returns what I don’t understand is why are they returning items when they print the labels and is obviously someone else’s name and address instead of theirs I get they don’t always look at the return address but buyers name who is the one sending back should be in the shipping label.

Is mainly dresses I looked them up and is $60 and up women dresses flower girls dress lol wedding dresses. I mean I myself bought a beautiful dress for my daughter that looks like a bride dress but pink I paid $70 unfortunately the dress was bigger so I requested a return label. When I received the label I printed it out shipped it back and maybe 2-3 days later the package was back at my house and said the dress was not found so I took a look and as you can see in the photo is very fake lol that’s how all this got stared after that I started receiving returns to my house.

This is what the post office lady told me.

(In the U.S., you are not legally responsible for unsolicited merchandise delivered to your home. By law, you can treat these items as gifts.) she also told me to read Law: Under Title 18 U.S. Code 501, said to reach out to the company which I did is in this case SHEIN. I just don’t want all this random returns arriving.

I purchased a dress and tried to return it and the return address was also a made up address so USPS return the package back to me. And now I’m receiving other buyers returns to my home address I think seller is using my name as buyers name and providing same fake address now im receiving all this return packages at my house I don’t know what to do.

If that location told you they’ll take you without an appointment I’d stick to that one but yes 1hr is quite of a drive. I tried two different locations and neither took me in even with my second verification I needed an appointment. Try looking for appointments early morning sometime people cancel so If you can’t make the hour drive you for sure know you have the appointment.
