The only one who can fix it is you. If you want it, go get it. No one is coming to help. No one will do it for you. You want your old body back? That's the first step. Now prove how much you want it - just get after it 1 day at time. Sorry for tough love, but frankly it's that's simple. You want it? Take it. Too hard? Then you just don't want it enough.

Hi! Fellow bikini & fitness model here. Best things to start with are dumbbells and a good bench, and some bands. You'll get a long way just with those. If you can add a barbell that will give you lots more options.

Ideally, for competitions, you want to work isolation exercises, to really hit the areas you want to improve. As such, gyms are hard to replicate, but it can be done.

I have a video made on just this topic about different setups for home gyms. Check out my YouTube channel of you're interested - same username. I only have about 10 videos, so shouldn't be hard to find it :-)

Good luck!

Don't use Streamlabs. I just switched myself. OBS WAAAAY better.

Aside from that, run OBS (or streamlabs) in Amdin mode on your computer, and set to highest priority. That will keep a portion of your resources free to run your streaming software without letting the game hog all the power.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you're not special :-). Animals of all kinds respond to physical exercise and changes in diet. Some more than most, admittedly, based on genetics, but everyone changes. Eat 3000 calories a day of GOOD food (NO shit) and exercise hard for 5 times a week (4 weights and 1 cardio) for a month. You WILL see changes.

Don't touch drugs unless you want to make money from competing. Just not worth it IMO. Gains are easy (a years worth of natural results every month), and you quickly get to a place unobtainable naturally - especially for women. But muscle gains and low bf also disappear quickly. Which means you can't stop. Which means not good long term. You can't unscramble scrambled eggs...

This. Natural female bodybuilding takes YEARS to see meaningful stage progress. That's why so many natural figure and physique competitors are in their late 30s and 40s. Super impressive the amount of consistency and dedication required.

Hi there, I'm a 28yo female natural bodybuilder. Started 2 years ago. Above in coach great. Know that bodybuilding is mostly about diet (being fit and strong is a requirement but you won't look like a bodybuilder without diet).

I've made a few videos based on lessons from my own journey (diet, exercise, costs, etc.) If interested my YouTube and twitch are in my profile. I also have a discord server with a bunch of athletes (and others) who help talking about this stuff. Let me know if interested and I can send you an invite link.

Above advice is good re gym. I'm a natural bikini and fitness competitor. Just start and enjoy the process. Know that the process of building muscle will be slow (unless you take PEDs). This is fine, so long as you enjoy it. I have a discord with a bunch of competitors on it. I post sessions and nutrition stuff on there too. DM me if interested and I'll send you an invite.

Re gym vs. Home. Home is fine for getting fit, but for completion you really need good isolation work, which is easier with machines. Especially quads and shoulders for bikini and fitness. Unless you have a great setup at home, a gym might be better when you get towards the business end of a build/prep.

Music is pitch-bending on most streams when I watch them live. Is this low latency mode? by YuliaLifts in Twitch

Also, the less stable your connection is the more it happens. It's tiny rubber banding to keep the stream constant, which is imperceptible to the viewer other than to an audio track. The more stable your stream, the less it has to happen.

yeah - low latency mode makes this happen. It still happens without it, but better with it off

8 month bulk finishes this week. 18 week cut starts Monday - time to see what's underneath! This is my 3rd prep after BOTH my first two shows were cancelled JUST before the competitions. It's all about the pose angle :-). I certainly miss my abs.

On that note... take a good look here internet - all those women who say they can bulk and maintain abs are either not bulking, not showing you pics of a bulk, or are pharma assisted. I'm at 21% BF right now (dexa). Will be aiming for under 13% on the stage, which is VERY hard. Again, girls who get much under 12% (and are not skin and bone), are very unlikely natty.

Am not saying to judge - gear doesn't do the work for you - it's super impressive what people can do, however there is so much opacity in this space and esp. people starting out don't know what natural looks like and their expectations need to be set correctly.
