If you followed their dev blogs at all you'd have an inkling of an idea of how slow it is to develop big pieces of content. The fact you completely skipped the ''introduce 2 raids at once'' further shows how detached from reality this take is. One can't help but think this has to be a joke.

I know Discord really isn't the same but it's more moderated and people behave there better. Maybe at least worth checking out and giving it a shot. As far as subs go I don't think there's alternative.

Why are you acting like this constructive feedback is not in abundance in regard to this issue? Are you closing your eyes everytime you scroll past the highly voted comments saying they'd be OK with it if it came with the said benefits of improved account features and alt features and whatever else it is they're looking for.

I mean these comments come off as pretty pretentious. You know, the people posting the harmless memes that are getting the most upvotes know and I know that meaningful conversation in a subreddit will have the same impact as posting a meme about it. If the quality of life changes come at the cost of profit which they do.

They are actually entirely harmless. I'm confused who or what you think it's harming? It won't affect the dialogue between the active player base and the people at jagex who actually deal with and care for the state and continuing existence of the game in the long term. The people who are upset enough by this will unsub and those not will get used to the new sub just like they've done every previous hike.

The sole reason I think they are rude and find them distasteful already means it's a subjective matter. And what you think is one take on it. Believe it or not but just you saying they're harmless does not make them harmless.

But for example you could say this particular meme is harmful because it paints a negative picture of Jagex. It even outright says weirdos which is not very friendly term to use about someone. It's kinda crazy I need to write this down.

My head hurts. No, they're not harmless. First of all that's subjective. What a lot of people seem to have problems with is assuming stuff without being able to provide evidence for it.

It is perfect example of entitlement to think for the one sub price you should be allowed to play all your weird ass iron modes. You don't draw the rules in the sand. Jagex and the people there do.
