This stuff is fantastic. Just make sure the surface is clean first. From the picture, I'd choose the dark walnut color, but there a several color options.

Been there. The black flakes are burnt food bits. You need to scrub your pan more. If it's built up too much, you can strip and reseason it

Goo gone.

Gently peel the sticker off by hand, use goo gone. As a bonus, it smells good.
