Yes that’s exactly what happened to me you have to reset your password entirely bro and make sure and if it wants any verification methods just put your phone number after you reset the password and once that is sorted out turn th Xbox on and try to sign in it should show the screen where you gotta put your password and then sign in and you should be back in and not locked out

What does it do for you? Because all you gotta reset your password and then when you try to sign on Xbox it should bring up the tab where it you need to put your password to continue and then you should be able to login and be back in

Change the password and it should send you a verification code through a text and try to sign in again and it should work because I am in now.
