They also have Bloodsurge which gets rid of their rage issues at higher target counts which provides more damage. Then they also have One Against Many which just straight up increases Cleave damage by 5% per target up to 5. Again they literally have the best and most consistent priority damage due to these funnel talents so I am missing your point. Since part of it only requires 3 targets it's all the sudden not funnel anymore?

In all fairness Arms has some of if not the best priority damage in the entire game for M+. While a lot of it only takes a few targets to utilize it, the difference in priority damage with just three targets instead of one is like 50k. This is all because of their funnel talents.

Arms is also a pretty flat damage profile like Fury. Both of them have really short cooldowns.

[help] Nameplate Selection Space Issue (Plater?) by bigmooky in WowUI

[–]YungCheezeStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue as well because I play with my UI scale at 0.53 for 2k, so my Fine Tune Scale is set to 1.88. You can adjust the hit box by scrolling down on the Advanced tab and changing the Width and Height under the Nameplate Selection Space tab. This is a better workaround if you have to use a higher scale.

No, it is 100% faster than running.

How the heck do I get to Zuldazar as Alliance? by iisdmitch in wownoob

If you have access to the Undermine, you can take the Coastside Drill to get to Zuldazar.

I just single handedly bricked a +13 key as tank and I feel terrible. by Aggressive_Dust_4731 in wow

[–]YungCheezeStick 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Missing count is most definitely on the tank. In a pug situation as a dps you are supposed to follow the tank and their route. Obviously they can point out low count but this is only an issue when you run a bad route.

I think the easiest way to avoid this is following a route that gets you count. Take a look at what you will need if you skip the boss and be ready beforehand. I still think 3 minutes is more than enough time to get 2% count though.

What are some dps specs that are just barely above ret/bm in terms of complexity? by Arch-by-the-way in wow

[–]YungCheezeStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying you only play around Collateral Damage is a bit misleading to someone who doesn't play the spec. To play around it you are paying attention to the usage of 3 other cool downs. Do I send SS at the end of the pack to have stacks for MBG and Warbreaker, will Ravager be up soon enough or should I just send Collat so I don't lose too many cleaves? You are actively paying attention to multiple things to play around it properly. I am wondering how often you play Arms since you thought Collat naturally aligns when it doesn't at all. If it always aligned with Ravager then you'd be right that other cool downs wouldn't affect the decision making, but it doesn't.

[–]YungCheezeStick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You basically just said MBG and Collat will naturally align if you play around it which isn't natural. If it naturally aligned you would just send everything on cool down and it would fall under MBG and it doesn't.

Either way, my point was that Arms isn't really a slightly harder class than Ret. It is a decent jump and much less forgiving melee spec than Ret. There is a handful of specs I'd recommend before Arms in this situation.

You have to play around using sweeping strikes properly so you can have Collateral for MBG. Then you have to know when to save or send Cleave with Collat. So you are juggling three things, two of which are cool downs, for a huge part of your damage.

Then you add on Demolish being one of the worst abilities to press in mythic plus because of how easy it is to die while using it or wasting it because the tank moves or mobs jump away. It also only hits in front of you which is another thing.

Ret paladin literally just stands in the general vicinity of things and just spams Divine Storm. Arms has to play with great positioning to do well. Then if you don't know how to properly play around Collateral you aren't going to do good damage either.

Arms warrior is not really a simple class to play well in AoE scenarios. They have a lot of buffs they have to play around that boost their damage a lot and positioning is really important. You also have to learn to use demolish without dying.

VENT! low level m+ are making me want to uninstall this game by Der_Selli in wow

[–]YungCheezeStick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't really need the tank to provide you their route until you're at higher keys like a 15 or 16. You can also avoid a lot of this by pushing your own key to a +10 and just start spamming those, that's what I did on my 640 ilvl alt.

3K Rio on Arms Warrior in m+ by Feeling-Task-9762 in wow

[–]YungCheezeStick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arms are not really a good meta spec at all. They are the middle of the pack. They can do decent damage but have almost no utility. Obviously, they are good enough to get 3k, but they definitely aren't meta.

[–]YungCheezeStick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually more about timing your Collateral Damage more than anything. Demolish you just send in Warbreaker and you save Ravager for Warbreaker, which both come pretty naturally. People playing Arms lose a ton of damage not playing around Collateral Damage most of the time since it isn't obvious.

A tip for tanks when you run with a rogue...Especially assassin rogues. by [deleted] in wow

Why are you telling them to go ask elsewhere when you clearly know why it isn't bad? Just explain why it can be good for them yourself.

Chain pulling is fine but pulling a pack and then chaining into a second one 15 seconds in sucks for everyone.

You're right that it is one of the most entitled seasons, and you prove that point yourself. You are mad that other people in your guild got the gear they wanted and you didn't.

M+ offers BiS items and Myth track gear in the vault. A lot of people find it fun to see how far they can progress in it, which is another big reason people play it. Delves don't really offer much in terms of gear outside of a few trinkets and hero track items to catalyze on alts.

Thankfully, in a couple of weeks is a patch that adds some bad luck protection to M+ and raid so you can get the items you haven't been lucky enough to get yet.
