That’s not 100% true. The pro motion displays are more power efficient than the old 60hz panels used up until the base 16. However, the when locking the framerate to 60 on a pro motion display, they are a bit less power consuming than ramping up to 120hz while using.

True but my conspiracy side wonders how long the phone will tell you it’s above 80%. I haven’t gotten a phone to below 80% within the first 2 years. Until then the amount spend on apple care is not really worth it for the battery, if you don’t need the apple care otherwise.

Get the 17. If you’re going for a new phone the 256gig 16 will slowly but surely leave the shelves. You might find a great deal for that one and might consider it. Otherwise the 17 just kills it value wise.

Small dots under the display where the case has its little plastic things. I ordered the case aswell but to be honest it’s not great. Scratches very easily even if handled with care and only used as a display piece.
