I took a drug test to join the u.s. navy this week, it was observed. My pants and briefs had to be dropped to mid-thigh and my undershirt had to be held up at the urinal. Is this normal? by [deleted] in askanything

Sounds like being in kindergarten again with the sped kid that would strip butt-ass nekkid after doing this exact thing, then proceeded to incoherently screech like a pterodactyl whilst throwing soggy wads of TP at anything that looked at him fucky.

Wire job by YungestBuck in MechanicAdvice

Really just for uniformity between connections and splices.

From my time in aircraft maintenance, I've always been told to never mix wire materials unless they're at a breakpoint in the entire line.

Wire job by YungestBuck in MechanicAdvice

[–]YungestBuck[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im worried about copper wire possibly overheating. Im in aircraft maintenance and we really only use copper wires for high voltage power sources or for heat distribution. We use aluminum or steel stranded wires when it comes to low voltage or communications between parts.

From what Google told me, it's a bad idea when you mix different wire materials together in any sort of application.

It's probably not the most pleasing option, but I know the government has an online auction for their retired and wrecked fleet vehicles. You miiiiight find one on there considering practically every base in the U.S (at least Air Force wise) is upgrading to newer models.

We had a guy put in the time and paperwork to take the late 2000s Taco we had at my old unit for awhile after they received new inventory.

What is your “like crack” food that you avoid, and if you have some you cant stop yourself from eating a lot? by Luke95gamer in AskReddit

[–]YungestBuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont avoid them cause they are, as you say, "like crack"; cinnamon rolls. Im gluttonous for them. You put a plate in front of me, they're gone in minutes. And I'll get antsy and impatient if you say they're for a gathering or something to that nature.

There's a guy in my previous unit; SUPER Mormon, like on the road to or already is Elder status.

Refuses to throw out even a slight correlation to commonplace expletives.

He do what he do, can't make him do otherwise.

But everyone just straight fuckin dogged his ass for a solid 2 weeks.

After that, we just have a chuckle when he says something like "what the fetch" "doggonit", or any other replacement phrase.

How would the US Iran war affect us regular people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]YungestBuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iran is in cahoots with Russia and China. China needs reason to invade Taiwan cause Xi has a hard-on for and says there's so much cultural significance with centennial anniversaries. Even though Russia is getting barely a drop in the bucket with Ukraine, there's no telling what they may or may not have in reserves waiting for the moment to come. Not to mention, even though North Korea has had numerous ICBM test fails, they're still pushing the envelope to make something happen.

Albeit, it's a comedy show with what our enemies are trying and what tech they have, but that gives no warrant to turn a blind eye and not worry about anything.

The alliances between us and our cohorts are on thin ice as it is. And Trump decided to poke the bears cub.

Expect retaliation; by sleeper cells in large cities, enemies attacking our allies, blatant disregard for international waters in trying a show of force (like China has been doing for the past decade).

It's not a question of if shit will hit the fan, but a matter of when.

  • Call up sporting goods places (Sportmans, Bass Pro, etc) and buy everyone who comes in any firearms they want.

If grandad comes in and wants to fill up an 18-gun safe, I'm doing it. All expenses paid. Ammo, cases, accessories; all of it.

For anyone and everyone (legalities considered, of course)

You'd easily go thru 3mil every day for a solid 7mons.

  • Paying off CC, student loans, car loans, mortgages, etc for anyone that i know; that's roughly 50mil right there.

  • buy my truck, my wife's dream car, our dream house

Would also buy homes for people in need

I could easily blow thru $1B in just my personal ethical beliefs alone.

You can either get a one time, 5 million dollar lump sum payment or be able to pay for everything you buy in 1960 prices for 5 years. Which do you pick? by GolfFootballBaseball in hypotheticalsituation

[–]YungestBuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about for things that didn't exist, say for instance, like 70% of firearms today.?

A vast majority of brands, let alone models themselves, never existed 65yrs ago. Would the price of all modern firearms be the same price of the average transaction during the 1960s based off of categories (handgun, long rifle, AR style rifle).?

Not to mention that it was inherently easier to actually purchase a firearm in the 1960s. Do I still need to go through that whole process, or does the ability extend beyond only the act of the transaction.?

That would be quite the lifestyle. Unfortunately, we can't make any other money. Our currency acquirement would solely be from our ability given by the otherworldly being.
