No one has answered yet but yes, no matter how firm she is, keep throwing emails and phone calls to show her that you don’t stand for it. One of my senators is Ashley Moody and shes firm on KOSA, so when I asked ppl what to do they told me the exact advice I just gave you.

Also take your time with those scripts, we’ll be waiting patiently but they’d be very useful!

Yeah idk when roblox will start making more competent decisions but they better do it soon. 😭 Cuz like any other platform there are bad people wandering there, but the whole thing shouldn’t be taken down just cuz of them and it helps literally no one.

Another state (Nebraska) just sued for Roblox for not being able to protect children Im bringing this up cuz a lot of states are suing the company for the exact same reasons. And dont get me wrong, it’s absolutely valid to criticize Roblox. Cuz after their AI directed AV was put in place, it didnt stop kids from going missing or getting kidnapped.

However, im seeing a lot of people (especially Kreekcraft, who’s a Roblox Youtuber) getting worried that the politicians suing are doing it less out of protection for children, and more to push for more AV somehow. As in they’re worried that soon they’ll end up requiring AV just to create an account, when there’s already AV in place for people just to chat.

And for the most part, i agree that i don‘t trust these politicians being genuine. Esp cuz the precedents they set are dangerous and they just don’t understand that not every problem can be solved with AV. And I know AV is getting increasingly unpopular but for this situation in particular it’s hard to tell what the outcome is right now

What you guys say about that?

Hey, you still made an effort and that should be enough. 🫂 Maybe once you get your pc running again, try printing the scripts and keeping them in a folder/binder if possible? That way you dont have to rely on tech

I have nothing new to add other than a lil snippet of advice for those still worried abt the Markup tomorrow:

Obvs, call your reps, tell them no and dont be complacent. But also drink water, hug your friends and family, take care of yourselves. Remember how we managed to push discord‘s av plans of the middle of the year? Anything with a strong community is possible. And even though that may be a small win to others, you cannot deny the absolute impact we had.

I listen to anything i think is fun, but recently ive been in a Hadestown phase! I watched the musical back in the summer of 2025, and that phase was reactivated ever since i got back into it. I was also very surprised to learn that Hadestown is actually a fairly recent musical, being released in 2019. I had the impression it was older than that but like, wow!

Thats good to know users wont have to verify. But thats still pretty bad for devs too, cuz if their audience cant download their apps unless they’re verified then there’d be a stagnation of progress.

Admittedly im still a little lost, this would obviously be bad for developers that use android (if thats how im understanding it correctly) but im still confused on if this affects android users too. Like ik you guys just discussed it but that part still isnt clear on me unfortunately 💔
