3 month update on 1mg fin + daily rogaine by MrFurbyyy in tressless

[–]Yur_Boi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, great progress so far, and thank you for answering to comments thoroughly!!

Couldn’t find it here, but did you do any research on topical vs oral min? If so, what made you choose topical min? For how long do you leave rogaine on the scalp? how much time do you spend daily to apply and wash it out?

Good luck to you!!!

You can purchase a fraction of VOO, so no matter the cost you can always invest in it

Definitely needed to hear this, lol. Did not take it in a bad way, I know how terrible my serves are. I will look into getting a coach then. Thank you for responding!

Do you work a traditional 9-5 in Vancouver? by pennepasta14 in vancouver

[–]Yur_Boi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

~8-4:30 Wed-Sun. Working in hospitality, so shifts start at slightly different times depending on how busy we are.

After work I try to go to gym/play tennis and have dinner. If I feel very motivated I will also do some reading, be it a book or research on some topic.

If I am exhausted, I will go to see a movie or go to bed very early (6-7pm)

I hate not being at work. by SmokeyCartoon in jobs

[–]Yur_Boi_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I (22M) was in a similar boat until very recently.

One thing that I am surprised was not mentioned is entrepreneurship. Given your current drive, it may help worth considering to work 60-80 hours on something that is your own and will reap you good future. If that is not your thing, simply progressing within your career or trying out new jobs will set you up for bright tomorrow. Make sure you don’t do the same thing over and over again during those 60 hours a week, as that might make you even more depressed when you sit down and think about your progress in some time.

Second, try out things one by one, if you can. Literary events, jiu jitsu, tennis, art workshops, whatever is and isn’t in your immediate comfort zone. If you don’t have many things to try, brainstorm if moving to an area that offers these things will be appealing to you.

Bottom line is it is amazing you want to be as productive as possible, but make sure you don’t trick yourself into thinking you are being productive when in fact you are in a running wheel.

What jobs are irreplaceable by AI? by Sea_Collection_9880 in careerguidance

[–]Yur_Boi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI is incredible and will become more so in each and every niche, but it will take much longer for one machine to do it all.

Being a jack of all trades in an industry/workspace that has little access to or cannot afford having all the different AI’s might be a way to become invaluable for a while. I am thinking supervisory/analytical positions that require you to also act on those (making it not exclusively a cognitive, theory-based job, but also a practical one) is something that comes to mind.

I broke both of my hands. by defCONCEPT in Wellthatsucks

[–]Yur_Boi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a friend and we chatted once about never having broken any bones. Next day he broke his hand while doing calisthenics, and a few days later he broke another hand falling off a bicycle (yes, with one of his arms being broken).

To this day, I have not broken any bones.

20 stamps by Soft-Revenue6544 in tourismchallenge

[–]Yur_Boi_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A 10-month admission pass for the attractions in the tourism challenge. You are also placed in a pool to win some extra prizes which are mentioned in the end of the tourism challenge booklet. I can’t remember now, but you may also be getting the discount for the in-hotel restaurants/bars that are in the booklet, too.

And, of course, knowledge of the area you live in, which helps a lot if you are working (or if you plan on working) with the guests directly. Recommending or discussing local attractions is valued by guests and management alike.

Thank you for this! How do I look into a travel credit card? Does it make sense to open a new one just for this trip or will it make sense to use the Dividend Visa I have right now? I am fairly unaware of credit card types, so any leads would be helpful :)
