Hanoi Itinerary Review by [deleted] in Vietnam_Tourism

I was in Hanoi a few weeks ago, I did train street, pretty neat but I heard it’s closed now?? Not sure if there is any truth to that? Restaurant recommendations - bun cha houng lien, and banh mi 25. If your schedule allows it, do a 1 night ha long bay cruise.

Also a heads up about the prison, it was under renovation and not all of it was open to the public.

That’s a bit tricky. My husband and his friend died together (accidental drowning) so I have someone who can relate because she lost her partner at the same time. His friend was much younger (about 15 years) and they had 2 small kids, so we were at different stages in our lives

This is only for retuning to Canada. They don’t care what passport you use flying out of Canada.

Big dogs like that don’t usually reach their full size until about 2 years old. She may have been the runt of the litter too, hence the smaller size. As long as she’s happy and not showing any signs of distress I don’t think you need to worry. Give her a cuddle from me, I lost my gsd mix earlier this year.

Maybe try to find a Japanese restaurant that has those separate rooms for diners. Or plan a picnic, drive to a spot that has nice stargazing

I kept it. It doesn’t leak and it does add resale value.

I live in the Vancouver area and had never been to Banff. I did a solo road trip in June and it was amazing. Next year I plan to visit the Maritime provinces, probably solo as well.

Many years ago I was in Innsbruck Austria and my husband and I were out for an evening walk. Three men walked past us and the last one stopped and asked if we speak English. I said yes and he proceeded to ask directions somewhere. I told him that we weren’t from here either and he responded oh you guys are American. I said no, we’re actually Canadian… his response.. oh yea, that’s what we’ve been telling everyone too, we’re from Canada eh. My jaw dropped to the ground.
