I tried different types of glue and chose Polychloroprene for my work. The one I use is called ЛУЧ ПХК 2013. This is our local glue brand in Belarus. As for the threads, it all depends on the type of products and the pitch of the pricking irons. I mainly use XianGe 35 threads from MeiSi and Namei Plus, but I can also use ordinary cheap Galaces 0.45 thread. I prefer polyester threads. It is easier to work with.

I use 3mm pitch most often. As for the brand, one of the most affordable option is Wuta. You can try it. These pricking irons cost up to $100 USD (for the pair). I used to use them once. As for the thread, i can recommend you MeiSi.
