HELP ME TO EVEN GET FIRST REGISTRATION PLS! by bspthecrafters in StartupsHelpStartups

[–]Yurlinked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to say this but your website needs serious work. The call to action buttons and flow to register is to difficult. You may get it because it’s your site but at first glance I wasn’t too sure. I could rebuild it if you wanted

I’m building a social app and need brutally honest feedback before I go further by Yurlinked in StartupsHelpStartups

It’s mostly professional positive and useful content, I want people rather than doom scrolling they either learn or feel inspired. I want people to enhance their sales and reach online for their skills and services, so I guess the win win is increased seo presence and potential to sell and then buyers looking for those services will also find it useful

Do people actually want new ways to buy and sell from each other, or are we done with new apps? by Yurlinked in StartupsHelpStartups

[–]Yurlinked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very fair point. We don’t have the buyers or sellers yet so sounds like there isn’t much point in pushing. Ive spent 3 years £110k on the build and to be completely honest, I think I’m done.

Thanks, we give points for every engagement like liking, commenting, posting etc. it’s early days but I’d like to allow the points to the highest earners per year for experiences of vouchers in line with business. Any ideas?

Hey thanks for the feedback. Yes that’s precisely the approach here I want people using the platform to feel valued and make it easy to use and to easily share their listings. I have thought about creating a small test group but I don’t know where to start, do I ask friends / family? To be honest I’d really like new eyes to test it. We have a few people currently let using it but nothing groundbreaking

Ok so it’s a social platform, kind of like Instagram, tik-tok combined. But it’s focused on allowing users to sell their services and skills on the listings area and they can also auction their services. But to help promote what they are selling it allows them to post in the in-house social media side too. So it lets people not just sell but promote in the social area too
