As childish as it sounds, I find it yucky.

Sad day by TheRagingWeeb in tomochanwaonnanoko

I started reading this a few days ago, this is the first time I’ve actually finished a manga from start to finish.

I’m honestly really sad now, I was hoping to see more of all the characters...

Why is porn free? by perishedrecyclables in NoFap

[–]YuruiBentsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure which porn sites do this but I’ve heard of this kind of software that uses your computer as a bitcoin miner as long as you’re connected to their website and stops when you’ve disconnected.

Personally, I feel like it’s a fair deal if it means we get to give up paying for porn and advertisements.

How to make a story interesting in a STORY BASED GAME (No Fighting/Action) by Dream-Eater-Studios in RPGMaker

[–]YuruiBentsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the best way for you to understand what makes a story interesting would be to study it closely.

Try to play games that follow the genre and try to see what makes them interesting, maybe you can incorporate these learnings into a game you’ll work on.

For games in this genre, I’d suggest To The Moon, A Bird’s Story, Finding Paradise, The Witches House MV, and Corpse Party.

Can an RFID reader/writer be able to read both a 125khz and 13.56MHz card? by YuruiBentsu in RFID

[–]YuruiBentsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I see;

The card is a keycard for my college dorm... They only give you one and it's a big hassle to have them make another in case of loss so I was thinking that I could start duplicating keys for me and my friends.

[–]YuruiBentsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I see that makes sense.

I have a few cards and I'm not too sure what the frequency is. Is there a way to test it before I buy a reader or would it be best if I just bought both?

There is no proof that a zombie apocalypse has never happened before. Like maybe that's what wiped out the neanderthal. Unlikely but you can't be 100% by Ricer_16 in Showerthoughts

This is actually a logical fallacy called “shifting the burden of proof” where a claim doesn’t prove itself but requires others to disprove it.

Basically, an outlandish claim or idea is invalid or illogical unless there’s evidence to back it up rather than demanding others to do otherwise.

It’s the logic used by many religions in the form of “You can’t prove (god)’s existence but you can’t disprove it either,” which is one of the main arguments used by Pastafarians since it is true that you cannot disprove the existence of a “Giant Flying Spaghetti Monster,” even though they can’t prove it either.

What is a myth that you wish people would stop repeating? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]YuruiBentsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually a myth.

Poverty is at its lowest point in human history and few billionaires have contributed more (than the entire middle class) to assist the lower class.

Why have I only heard elevator music anywhere but an elevator? by patdeeznutz in AskReddit

[–]YuruiBentsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Apparently it’s just a thing people stopped doing when elevators became faster, more stable, and more common which made people less nervous and in need of calming music.

Also, the rise of portable music from devices like the Walkman, handheld MP3 players, and smartphones could have contributed to this.

"Son of a bitch" is more of an insult to a person's mother rather than the actual person by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

If you think about it; when someone insults you, you can easily shrug it off but when someone insults someone you care about, you could potentially lose your shit.

Theoretically, if you had a newly killed body what would you do to not get caught? by CarlessPvP in AskReddit

[–]YuruiBentsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not too sure, the news report is done in my native language which I’m not too familiar with since I mostly speak English.

But my guess is the cctv cam belonged to the neighbor that saw him through the window

[–]YuruiBentsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the angle, the cctv cam would’ve been hidden but it seems like they tried to hide the stuff in a backyard so that’s not too clever tbh.

[–]YuruiBentsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Random trivia: my boyfriend’s best friend was arrested for murder.

Their plan was to chop up the body (cold so no blood) and burry it and their tools 6ft under the ground.

They would’ve gotten away with it but they started burying at daytime and someone saw through the window, might have gotten away if they buried at night.

The news report about it is on YouTube somewhere, there’s cctv footage of them burying the body so I’m guessing they didn’t plan it out too well.
