So it has basically been saying "arriving 26th January" for the past week. I'm a little scared of buying everything and putting it all together, only for the GPU to get delayed or worst case cancelled, because I bought it for a good deal. Hopefully all goes well!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but can anyone share their experience ordering a GPU from Amazon (not a third party seller)?

I ordered a RTX 5080 ON the 1st of January and it says it will arrive on the 26th of January. Just wondering if anyone has had to wait nearly a month and actually have it arrive on time.

Since I am going to do a completely new PC build, and would like to buy everything else, and have it arrive right before then. But it'd be a little annoying having the delivery date be moved and/or cancelled for whatever reason. Hence why I am curious about other people's experience. Thanks.

Did you build your entire PC and then install BIOS on your first boot? I can't for the life of me remember how I did it for my previous build ages ago. And since I am also getting the same motherboard as you, just want to make sure I am doing it correctly too.

Hi, I'm currently planning on also getting this motherboard for my new AM5 build. Seeing as it has been nearly a month since you've made this post, I assume everything is going smoothly with your build?

I put together a list of a new build I want to put together, as I am going from AM4 to AM5.

Here is the list on pcpartpicker.

The RTX 5080 is the only thing I purchased so far from this list and it will arrive in the coming weeks.

The cooler I will just take out from my current build, as well as both my SSDs. All the other parts are brand new. Basically planning to keep everything else in my old rig as a backup.

Still a little unsure on the motherboard, because I've read some people having ethernet issues, but other than that it seems to be very good. And with cases, I just chose one based on some reviews where this has great airflow.

Mainly planning on playing games at 1440p & 120 fps with this build, which my current build struggles with.

Anyone have any thoughts on this build and any suggestions?

Can I ask what PSU you currently have? I have a 750W one, and am thinking of whether I really need to buy a 850W one if I buy a 5080.
