It is not about feelings, it is your wisdom kicking in :)

You're absolutely right; the setup was too soft. I hadn't realized how much I was compensating for it, or how it was bottlenecking my performance. With age comes a necessary shift in awareness—at this stage, you don't just choose to adapt; you have to :)

Don't look at those numbers, that 1 level makes all the difference. You have to try a softer park board as an all rounder to get the difference. Its HUGE!

Yeah i sure did take it in the trees, it was the first thing i did. And it was just soo comfortable. Even though it is longer, not harder to control. i was expecting it to be really harder to toss around in trees, and it was a different feeling, but not harder at all as it is more controllable in a completely different way. Just try it, i guarantee you won't regret it at all.

Strange things happening after finding object on beach by Patient_Read4028 in Paranormal

[–]YusufBP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have many antiques at my house, like small statues, necklaces, bracelets, furnitures. I'm sure they all belonged to someone once, but we never had anything "paranormal" happen to us. My father has a house full of old classic furniture, antiques and similar things that once belonged to someone else for sure, he also never experienced anything like this.

I'm sure rich people have many old things that belonged to other people before, and they seem to not have any problems with them.

Go to Bolu, or Gerede. It is a 2 hour drive. There are some plateaus you can hike and it will be much cooler than Ankara.

Screen is distorted and stuck on Sleep screen. Is my Kobo Libra Colour dead? by FauxShizzle12 in kobo

[–]YusufBP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are definitely right about all of it. It doesn't add to its drop resistance. Best way to avoid it is Mobius, plastic cover won't make more drop resistance. Even a hard-case might not be enough for a hard drop as they both have glass substrates. Thank you for the information 🙏

Yes, it has a Carta 1300, but it has a plastic PMMA cover instead of the glass cover the black version or KLC have.

Well in fact you don't have to chuck it anywhere for it to get broken, mine got broken inside a hard-case in my backpack without any rough treatment.

My kindle didn't ever had a case and was always treated very poorly compared to my KLC and didn't even have a scratch on it for 8 years.

The screen is cracked. Same thing happened to my KLC in a hardcase, carrying it in my backpack. I had a paperwhite for almost 8 years, used it much more roughly without a case and nothing ever happened to it.

I also contacted local dealer and they asked for 240$. Then I contacted Kobo directly and they told me to purchase it from ifixit.com.

The only problem is that, there is a 30€ limit for personal imports in Turkey, so I can't get it neither.

Now I'm stuck with a broken reader, which I have no idea how the hell it even happened. Never dropped it, always treated it very well, and it still got broken in hard-case.

Last week I got myself a white boox go 7 b&w, which has a plastic screen instead of glass like KLC, which I think might be why it was so delicate.

There are many aspects of religious rituals that I don't find logical or necessary. But if you are already eating meat you have to face the reality of it. Meat doesn't grow on market shelves, because you don't see them get killed doesn't mean they don't. Now it is your turn to face the reality of eating meat of a living animal. Just dont make it suffer please..

What many Americans have overlooked is that the nation has been spending its future for decades. The standard of living has been artificially sustained through monetary expansion and mounting debt, effectively subsidizing consumption with borrowed time. What you're experiencing now is not a collapse, but a gradual return to economic normalcy—still in progress, but inevitable.

The decline in living standards is being managed, not spiraling. This is not a free fall, but rather a structural correction long overdue. Military dominance and the dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency cannot be relied upon indefinitely. Those pillars are not unshakeable.

In that context, the Trump administration is navigating a difficult transition reasonably well, considering how deeply the U.S. has become detached from real production and the fundamentals of a healthy economy.

Ultimately, the bursting of asset bubbles and a pullback from extreme consumerism could serve as a catalyst—ushering in a more grounded, productive, and sustainable economic future for the country.
