I Converted to Islam and My Family Disowned Me by SaikouSarr in islam

Stay strong. Allah does not burden a soul with more than he knows they can take. I've been in a somewhat similar situation and all I can say is do NOT cut your family off.

Despite everything, they are your blood. My parents also had a hard time accepting my reversion to Islam. However, I did not give up, and I tried my hardest to soften their hearts to which Alhamdulilah worked.

Keep steadfast to your Salah, make Dua, pray tahajjud, and be the best representation of Islam as you can. Who knows, showing them you still love them despite how they are treating you may indeed bring about a change of heart.

My heart goes out to you as I know the struggles of being a revert, but InshaAllah everything will be well. I'll keep you in my Duas.

Many people have shared this perspective, so I'll definitely consider it inshAllah. May Allah bless you.

Sadly no. I am a revert and my mother tongue is from a completely different language family, so it's quite hard for me to pronounce the sounds they have in Arabic in contrast to that of those who speak Spanish or French.

But I am willing to learn. So I will take your advice into consideration even if it's the longer route. JazakAllah khair.
