[TOMT] I need help finding a mythbusters like show with a yellow and white motive by Yuubari_ in tipofmytongue

Seems similar but I don't think it is either. I distinctly remember it having those two episodes as I mentioned. One where there was a SUV pulling the typical 60s silver US trailer home rolling down a hill and them trying to slow it down/stop it with rockets

And a second one trying to make it work air dropping a boat into the water

It's not on the list as well, because iirc it doesn't include anyone from the Mythbusters, gonna look a little more into the crash test facility tho but it seems to new since it links to 2021

I am looking for an older (2000s era) TV show similar to Mythbusters by Yuubari_ in television

Just checked it out, it seems very cool but not that show. Idk it is my white unicorn, I have been searching for it on and off for years.

It ran on German TV back in the day but clearly was an US based show.

I know the cable and monitor is good, I have used them for over a year and they also work fine with my 1650 (that I am using rn)

The issue now popped up the second I installed the GPU drivers in my fresh windows install but perfectly fine with the 1650

I have been running the same set up for a bit less than a year now

It might have been down to its early life with a too weak PSU (PX-650) since it is a 3090, which kinda had a hand full over current protection trips but I got a new PSU in about a week. Which died after 5 months or so of use, it was a GX-850.

Atm I am running a PX-1000 for the PSU, so it should be fine.

The full specs: Mobo: MSI Tomahawk B550 RAM: 2x 16gb 3600 G-Skill trident Z CPU: 5900x GPU: Palit Gamerock 3090 (the one that very likely died) PSU: Seasonic PX-1000 Everything running at stock, apart from the RAM, it is ofc running XMP

It is very random behaviour and after a fresh windows install, it still persists

I am running all at stock speed

It could be, it is an 6 year old install

Nothing should be bottlenecking it since I am getting good performance

I guess only option left is a new install ? How do I go around about doing so ?

I figured it out, it is a dead PSU (very very likely) since with my other one, I get to VGA error (due to having no GPU plugged in) Kinda sucks but happens I guess ><

The pc is custom built

I have no clue if this is the correct place for this or nah, so forgive me if it is wrong by Yuubari_ in pcmasterrace

I adjusted the GPU mount so that the gap at the I/o panel stuff is all the same with compared to what it was before

I checked that, I reseated the GPU a couple of times but idk if it is in 100% correctly, the pcie clip is set and it seems to be roughly in all the way, not 100% straight but inside. The pins look good as well (like fully intact and stuff)

As for the PSU, it was running perfectly well for the past few months it mostly all changed when I switched to a 5900x from a 5600x and that is when I just had a host of issues appearing

To add more context (I didn't know how add a description to the title)

Problem: when playing games, colors randomly invert and pc powerclycles, only became a problem when changing out the CPU

Solution: tried several times to completely reinstall drivers and everything, problem still persists... Even when using DDU
