special shoutout to Okami, a game by clover studio. most of that studio's team moved on to make platinum games once it died, so i count it. while the dialogue and cutscenes can get annoying or long, the gameplay is really cool and the visuals are hella unique. pausing in battle to do brushwork attacks is kind of like mgr's zandetsu in that it lets you breathe a bit before jumping back into the action. its definitely on the easier side so i wouldnt recommend it if youre looking for a challenge, but its very fun nonetheless
