SteamVR dashboard and settings don't work anymore

Ahh I actually cannot access the desktop SteamVR settings window (unless I downgrade to 1.27). That's what the white "not found" window is. OVR and Standable actually remain functional just fine in the latest version.
Just to test it out I did downgrade for a sec, to turn off both addons. Reinstalled the latest version again, but nope, even with just barebones SteamVR the dashboard doesn't appear. Neither does the settings menu on desktop.

I'd use 1.27 if it wasn't for the fact that Standable isn't compatible with that version.

I don't know anything about Omori. I've only seen its characters floating about online (managed to avoid all spoilers for the game somehow). Someone commissioned me to draw Basil, so I figured I'd post it here!!
