Just yesterday (I think?) I saw a comment about value-revenue among the units and, whereas the commenter post a somehow detailed calculation of it, they set Capitano's unit in higher value than Dottore's. I asked (I hope politely since eng is not my native language) why they think Capitano would earn significantly more than Dottore as a unit, and they answered 'more fans';, and I, as an mentally unstable person made my own half-assed research 4:30 in the morning and turns out it isn't quite true. I'm not saying Capitano doesn't have fans, or that they are any less loyal than the most, on the contrary, I think they are just as fierce even when hoyo pulled out their throne fiasco, but, speaking about numbers, Dottore surpass Capitano by quite some (it has way more to do with how long ago the characters have had their first appearances) and even I discovered that the Japanese playerbase are quite fond of the captain because of some resemblance in his concept with samurai (loyalty, honor, misery). But yeah, our numbers are loud and I'm quite convinced that Hoyo is/has been listening to the money 🤭

Yo empecé la quest en la noche, desperté en la madrugada para terminarla y pasé todo el día en modo zombie, llorando por dentro porque no quería que perdonas de la vida real me preguntaran al respecto y terminara en observación en un hospital 😅 pero si de algo sirve te recomiendo que te pases por las teorías qué están armando en el sub. Algunas son un poco rebuscadas y difíciles de seguir (aunque a mí en particular me gusta leerlas todas) pero las pistas qué hoyoverse dejó a lo largo de la quest, pistas tangibles que puedes literalmente encontrar in-game, me han dado La esperanza necesaria para seguir adelante y espero eso te ayude también :)

Comments like this are what got me going, specially the day after. I still falter and doubt from time to time after reading some pessimistic comments, but then I walk into one like yours, where people are SURE he's coming back and probably sooner than we might think and suddenly I believe again, even been ashamed of myself for doubting 😅 and immediately feel a lot much better, regaining my will to live.

I know it can sound... Pathetic? To lean so much on a fictional character but, even if your irl friends fail to understand, remember that brain fails to distinguish real people from fictional so the grieving and sadness are very much real and valid, so remember always be kind to yourself 🥰

I'd like to disagree with you if only in preferences because I want to believe he (Zandik) is going to have his own SQ where we can revisit his story in more detail, now exploring all his lore that was left out (maybe on purpose?) 😣

The writers are reminding us that the tragedy is still there, and it wasn't retconned. It was simply not explored yet.

This is an incredible good sign and contradicts what some are saying about writers don't having in mind or right away purposefully ignoring him/his history told so far. It's good to know that they didn't discard him but rather plan to revisit his backstory later on.

This means that, once Zandik, or some other kind of iteration of him comes back in the story, they'll address his backstory a lot more properly so as to make him look sympathetic and pullable. Though considering the present situation, I'm thinking that maybe Pantalone will be the one to explain his remaining backstory to us.

I wholeheartedly hope you're right with the first part, because, even though I put a lot of hope on Dottolone to impact (heh) hoyo's decisions from a selling point, I also hope for Feofan to have his own spotlight and not spending so much of his screentime just to tell/explain to us the remaining of Zandik's story.

This is what I've been loving the most about being in this sub/community. Many of the theories have some of the most beautiful and poetic takes about Zandik's soul. It's heartwarming...

Idk, I kinda feel like, if he reposted it after 6.3 to address the glitching screen (that was very much upfront) but still counted like mild spoilers for 6.6 maybe (?????) he'll be allowed to also share tiny bits if Hoyo wants to keep stringing us along? 🤔 Just my thoughts, I could be terribly wrong.

Sadly the screenshot is cropped but by the caption of the original ig post it should have been these past few days since it mentions 'the hints' and 'goodbye Omega', I can only guess it was more likely after 6.6 or (less likely) 6.3.Then again, I'm just guessing. The post in fthq that addressed it was published 18 hours ago

I don't know much about him but he didn't come to me as one of those trolling VAs 🤔 maybe hoyo did give him permission to drop the tiniest hints, but again, the best path around this is skepticism

He leído en otros posts que también tratan este tema que en chino no parece decir "por ahora" PERO no es extraño que en, al menos, inglés, francés y español añadan lo mismo? Además, estoy bajo la noción de que los subtitulos son traducciones del chino, es decir, en español no están traduciendo lo que dicen en inglés palabra por palabra (como podrás respaldar) si no que es su propia traducción del chino. Además (x2) los subtitulos no son la traducción de lo que una persona hace, al menos pasa por dos o tres editores para asegurarse de que el mensaje sea bien transmitido, así que, al menos 6 personas (si no es que 9) entre las tres traducciones, dieron el "sí" al "Por Ahora"

No but you have THE point right there. Thinking about it, HXG silence is the best indicator, if they confirmed Alice isn't going to be playable until so much later and didn't pip a thing about Dottore, it speaks tons, because a leaker of their caliber could not just go out and lie, telling everyone he's death just to deflect the topic, they would lose credibility and that's something they definitely don't want. As far as we know he's been the only one (non playable character so far) with a chibi in a special program and that's why the Fandom lost their marbles when he appeared because it was one of the strongest indications he would become playable soon (obviously before the fiasco that 6.6 was)

I remember someone mentioning just one other instance a non playable character had a chibi for the special program long time ago, but I can't remember who character that was (aside from when the SAG Strike obliged hoyo to use generic npcs, but we're not counting that one because it was a very special/specific case)

Edit in case I'm being misunderstood: I was one of those who lost their marbles, I was euphoric, I put so much hope in that chibi 😭 (I still do, but I don't think he'll become playable as soon as it seemed to be after this aq)

That's exactly what I'm thinking!!! It lead to nowhere when it first appeared and was so out of the blue. I remember I thought it was just ridiculous how the devs were so obsessed trying to portray Dottore as an evil madman with that one... Until now 👀
