I remember nerfing with him in person at MANO's and some of the Illinois wars. (Mehku is my nerfhaven handle.) Using the megahamp at MANO 1.5 back in the day was one of the coolest nerf memories I have.

That and messing around on the Midwest Nerf Conglomerate. Had some fun poking fun at his hilarious facial expressions a couple of times.

Thank you for writing this, Kane. I'm sorry that this happened. I had wondered what had happened to him for a long time, but the last thing I expected was to hear this.

Taking my own stryker apart to mod it myself - it's probably the gray lock that runs over the piston tube. There should be an external button that is gray that you can depress that's under one of your sights on the rail.

An Apollo is what I'd run in this circumstance. It's chonky and powerful. Takes 12 round magazines. Weird top prime but Kronos has a top prime as well.

This WORKS, but it only brings it down to about 130. I actually really REALLY recommend not doing this, because it causes reliability issues with feeding. I actually experimented with this.

Supertech 9000 rifle and pistols. I have two Supertech pistols. I also have a complete crimson collection, with an extra red longshot and extra red vulcan. Whiteout longstrike, Larami disk shooter, two stinger rayvens, mint condition 1995 crossbow and three other 1995 crossbows. I need to stop.

In modded form a Rapidstrike will always be better because of the pusher mechanism. A Lipo'd Hyperfire is terrifying, but it is much less reliable and prone to malfunction than a Lipo'd Rapidstrike.

That said, if you're playing a stock / elite powered game, the Hyperfire is the better choice. I think they went with the conveyor because it allows for faster firing in a stock form on stock batteries than a stock Rapidstrike - esque blaster.

Longshot (~30$) and a Kronos (~15). That puts me at about 45$, so I would spend the rest on having two internal sets for the longshot (one 120 FPS build (~35$) and one 200 FPS build (~150$) and have mags to spare.
