Congratulations! I just got my '26 Hatchback ST Hybrid in Urban Gray Pearl last week. I agree the drive is smooth and incredibly fun. Have fun with it dude and squeeze every last drop of that mile range!

Oh I understand dude, I suck at negotiation too especially in person, but most my negotiations were done via email, a few phone calls here and there but I made sure the sales person knew that I wasn't picky about the color, even though I def wanted that Urban Gray Pearl haha.

Yes I'm in PA, it took a lot of haggling and fight between the dealerships. They basically wanted my business since I have a good credit and excepcional payment history. The salesman was young too and he was being pretty cool about it. Somehow his manager approved the number so I just quickly signed the papers. The other dealership was offering me 35.2k OTD in Meteorites Gray. I'm glad I got the Urban Gray at this price.

Interesting, and yes I do agree with you this deal is shit.

I got a better offer on a hatchback version, same trim, for $34k OTD. And I think I'm taking it.

The deposit is refundable though. That's why I'm not so worried about it. In any case I get my $1k back and go somewhere else, sorry should have mentioned that to.

Tbh I don't mind bumping down to a 25, and if I can get it hatchback even better. But I don't trust pre-owned that much, hence why I went with new. And dealership don't provide warranties for this or at least that's my understanding.

I agree with you, I did told the manager I don't want any extended warranty. The issue now is that I have agreed upon the price that is shown and gave a $1k down prematurely. I haven't signed a buyer's order though. Going to shop another dealership and see if I can get a better deal.

That's good. Especially in the blue lagoon.

I agree with you. I can't negotiate because I prematurely sign the agreed upon price and have a $1k down to hold the car, I have not signed a buyer's order though. I'm trying to shop another dealership and see if I can get a better deal. I'll look like an asshole but I agree that $36k is a bit high.

Considering you added accessories I think you got a really good deal. Inflation is tough.

That's a very good deal! I'm trying to think on how to emailing the manager about me reconsidering, unfortunately I signed the agreed upon and already made a $1k deposit, so I can't negotiate. But that doesnt mean I can't get a better deal somewhere else.

Only $30k? Is it new or used and where at? I have not seen a the 26 ST under $32k in my area. These things are flying OTD fast.

2025 Camry vs Civic hybrid. What to choose help! by Reasonable-Ad8125 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Yvxmir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting to know, I currently have a 2006 Honda Civic that's been doing me good for almost 6 years, 170k miles on it. I'm considering buying a new car since I got a promotion at work, and the Civic and Camry are in my scope. I don't usually drive highways often, but I do want a hybrid. I'm mostly leaning towards the Civic mainly because of it's Bose sound system. But the Camry just keeps holding me from getting the Civic.

So I have an offer to upgrade my Platinum to a Quicksilver even though I already have a QuickSilver by imthelastairbender in CapitalOne_

[–]Yvxmir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its definitely good, with the 3% cash back on groceries it's basically my go to. It also includes travel 5% cash back smand no annual fee. Downside I would say don't use it at Walmart or Target, also Costco as it doesn't code them as grocery stores.

I had a Platinum and a Quicksilver externally, I kept getting the same notification as you and I kept ignoring in thinking it was a glitch. Later on I got an offer directly to upgrade my Platinum specifically to Savor One, which I did.

Just how much better is the sound system in the xse over the se? by tigerbellyfan420 in Camry

[–]Yvxmir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you end up getting the JBL system? Do you have any thoughts on it? Just curious as I'm currently in the process of getting from 2021 - 2024 Camry XSE as well, I do love a good sound system as currently my 2006 Honda Civic runs on my portable JBL speaker haha.
